Dieses Pedal entstand aus der Idee, ein vintage-orientiertes Tonebender-MkII-Style-Pedal zu entwickeln, das sich perfekt mit unserem kräftigeren Hellbender kombinieren lässt. Unsere Herausforderung bestand darin, die Schaltung so anzupassen, dass sie nicht nur frühe Fuzz-Klänge wie in „Dazed and Confused“ abdeckt, sondern auch röhrenartige Overdrive-Töne liefert.  

Deshalb wurden mehrere Modifikationen und Frequenzanpassungen am ursprünglichen 60er-Jahre-Schaltkreis vorgenommen, um typische Zeppelin-Sounds sowie eine Vielzahl klassischer Rock-Gitarrenklänge zu ermöglichen – ohne die typischen Probleme alter Vintage-Pedale.  

Der Pagebender läuft mit einem gewöhnlichen 9V-DC-Netzteil, hat keine Probleme mit Buffern oder anderen Pedalen und kann an jeden Verstärker oder ein ähnliches Gerät angeschlossen werden, ohne Impedanzprobleme zu verursachen.

This pedal was born from the idea of having a vintage-focused Tonebender mkII type of pedal, to pair with our heavier Hellbender. Our challenge was to tailor the circuit to cover not only early fuzzy tunes like “Dazed and Confused”, but also tube-like overdrive tones. That’s why this circuit incorporates several modifications and frequency adjustments to that original 60’s core circuit, intended to cover typical Zep tones and also a myriad of classic rock guitar sounds without any of the vintage pedal problems. The Pagebender takes a usual 9V DC power supply, doesn’t suffer with buffers or any other pedal and can be connected to any amplifier or similar device without any impedance issues.

For our 16th birthday in 2023, we decided to make some special editions of our classics. These all-black versions have exactly the same circuit and even timbre as traditional (no mods) as a tribute to the thousands of pedals of these models that we dispatched to the whole world until that date.
