Description
This boutique pedal is an exact replica of the first 1966 Fuzz Face circuit topology, engineered to reproduce the classic fat fuzz and musical harmonics of rare, original NKT275 germanium transistors. It utilizes a pair of carefully selected New Old Stock (NOS) AC153 germanium transistors and offers clean, bright volume knob cleanup. An internal trimpot is included for precise bias adjustments, while the external layout remains identical to traditional vintage units. The circuit features low input impedance, requiring placement first in the instrument signal chain for intended performance. Due to its vintage-accurate germanium composition, the overall behavior and harmonic characteristics are sensitive to ambient temperature changes.Media
