Description

Prophet Rev2 operates as a highly versatile polyphonic analog synthesizer designed as the successor to the classic Prophet '08 architecture. Available in both 8-voice and 16-voice configurations, the engine utilizes dual digitally controlled analog oscillators per voice alongside authentic Curtis low-pass filters to deliver rich, vintage-inspired subtractive synthesis. A comprehensive modulation matrix provides extensive routing capabilities, complemented by four polyphonic envelope generators, three low-pass filters, and four discrete low-frequency oscillators. Performance features include a premium five-octave semi-weighted keyboard with aftertouch, an integrated polyphonic step sequencer, and a dedicated digital effects engine. The robust hardware layout is housed in a road-ready steel chassis with oiled African mahogany wood end panels for an elegant, traditional aesthetic.
