Description

The Evolver is a monophonic hybrid synthesizer that merges analog and digital domains in a compact desktop chassis. It features two analog DCOs and two digital wavetable oscillators based on the legendary Sequential Prophet VS. The unit utilizes genuine analog Curtis low-pass filters and offers a true stereo signal path with independent filters per channel. An integrated 16x4 step sequencer allows for complex, evolving sounds and rhythmic textures. Dave Smith developed this pioneering design shortly after his collaboration with Roger Linn on the Adrenalinn pedal.
