Dirt Ripper

SWITCHER
Description
Dual-channel bass blender and active equalizer routing station functions as the central signal distribution hub for complex parallel effect chains. Designed in collaboration with bassist Ron Petzke of doom metal bands Bongripper and Seaxes, it runs two independent effects loops alongside an unaffected dry path. Each loop features an active 3-band equalizer tuned to 100 Hz, 800 Hz, and 2.2 kHz, paired with dedicated level controls and phase polarity switches. A selectable 200 Hz low-pass filter toggle shapes the clean signal to maintain low-end fundamental punch while running high-gain effects. Internal normalization connects the send and return jacks when unpatched, converting either channel into a standalone 3-band equalizer. Individual footswitches allow instantaneous switching of both parallel effects loops during live performance.Media
