All my blue pedals on one board.
Like on my “red right hand” board I took all blue pedals from the shelf and put them on a board. The rat and dark matter make them a playable rig. The Tonex comes in handy when I need to go direct.

The TC Electronic Dark Matter Distortion pedal is a robust and cost effective addition to the overflowing distortion pedal market, and despite its name, the Dark Matter pedal is more of an all around distortion pedal than a unit solely capable of metal saturation. The pedal is designed to sound like a classic, plexi-style amp, and the manual promises “high headroom, low compression, and amazing bottom-end”.

BOSS’s iconic DD-3 Digital Delay has been a pedalboard staple since 1986, loved everywhere for its great sound and simple operation. With the DD-3T, we’ve updated the classic stomp with enhanced functionality while fully retaining the original’s sound and control layout. It’s now possible to tap in delay tempos using the onboard switch or an external one, with your choice of three beat subdivisions. And the direct output jack has been moved next to the main output, providing easier connectivity for wet/dry setups.

Our Classic Chorus does everything from pleasantly thickened guitar sounds, to subtle, Police-style effects. A big advantage of this high-quality pedal is that you need only two controls (Rate and Width) to cover an enormous range of sounds. Oh, and by the way: The Classic Chorus is also the secret weapon of keyboard and bass players...

If you like repetition but don’t like getting bored, our Digital Delay is all you need. The Time, Repeat and Level controls give you three settings to create your own personal armada of delay sounds. And the best bit: Even though it’s a digital delay, the sound is pleasantly warm and analogue. This pedal can even produce a slapback echo. If you’re after a tone that’s a bit out of the ordinary, dime the repeat control to make the repetitions swell louder instead of quieter. And because it’s true bypass, it won’t mess with your signal when deactivated.

A vintage-voiced distortion pedal inspired by one of the most revered circuits in the history of rock! Not content with merely emulating the sound of the original it also mirrors its Distortion, Filter, and Volume controls, albeit in a much more compact format to save valuable pedalboard real estate. But this miniature tone monster has an ace up its sleeve: a three-way mode switch to take you over the edge during solos or kick in a turbo for extra horsepower.

Debuting in 1984, the DOD Delay FX90 was DOD's 12th FX-series pedal and the last to feature "bars" graphics. Always providing great bucket brigade delay sound at an affordable price, the Delay FX90 has consistently used the analog MN3005 chip, which is also found in the famous Boss DM-2.
