The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Das Auge spielt mit und das KMA Audio Machines Logan ist mit seinem dunkelgrünen Hintergrund und dem wölfischen Schamanen darauf keine Ausnahme. Das Verzerrer-Pedal soll vor allem mit zwei Aspekten punkten: die Reaktivität des Gains bei der Anschlagsdynamik und dem damit verbundene Headroom, der einen offenen, saturierten Sound gewährleisten soll. Bis zu 25 dB soll das Logan durch das Headroom-Design draufpacken können, womit das gute Stück in Preamp-Gefilde vorstößt. Es ist kein rückkopplungsfreudiges High-Gain-Pedal, sondern ein Tone-Shaper und Boost, der sich darauf konzentriert, Mitten und Bässe hervorzuheben. Treble und Bass verstärken den Sound um bis zu 15 dB, eignen sich also hervorragend dazu, bei einem größeren Cabinet ein ordentliches Fundament zu liefern. Die eigentliche Stärke des Logan liegt in der Flexibilität der Mitten – doch dazu später mehr.

The overdrive+ is an original circuit with a whole range of both familiar and unique tones - from low gain always-on tonal enhancer to ripping high gain lead machine. With a combination of JFETs, op-amps and a few diodes inside it really covers a lot of ground. 
The op-amp is used for gain and buffering and is raised to around 30 volts so it never clips, even when another pedal is stacked in front. All clipping is crafted from the JFETs or the diodes.

In addition to standard VOL, TONE, and GAIN controls you'll find a bass cut switch for perfectly tightening things up and a clipping mode switch to swap between symmetric or asymmetric clipping styles (symmetric is smoother, asymmetric is more natural and textured).

The TW-LS is an effects loop selector as well as an A/B Box intended to activate or deactivate an effects chain, allowing you to select, for example, the preamp section of your amp. With A/B mode, the TW-LS transforms into an A/B Box allowing you to connect one instrument and two amps or two instruments to one amp and choose between the two.

The TW-LS also allows you to ''Mute'' the input and output by holding down the ''footswitch'' for a long time.
The transparency of the selector has been particularly carefully designed so as not to degrade the signal and the harmonics passing through it.
