Description

Utilizing an all-analog signal path with discrete gain stages featuring MOSFET transistors, the Crazy Tube Circuits Stardust V3 is an overdrive pedal designed to recreate the sound and response of vintage blackface amplifier models. It incorporates a three-way voicing toggle switch to emulate three distinct classic amplifier circuits, alongside standard volume, tone, and gain controls. The unit features top-mounted jacks and employs a soft-click true bypass footswitch via a high-quality relay. Built with an internal voltage doubler, it runs on an internally boosted 18-volt supply derived from an external connection to increase headroom and output. Housed in a compact enclosure, the pedal supports use as an amp-in-a-box preamp when paired with an external speaker simulation device.
