The Cosmodio Instruments Splinter Twin is a time modulation workstation pedal that manipulates short delay lines to produce effects ranging from flanger, chorus, vibrato, doubling, slapback, and echo to experimental textures. It clones the input signal, alters the clone in time, pitch, texture, phase, and feedback, and recombines it with the dry signal to create new sounds. Controls include TIME (0–340 ms delay), MOD SPEED, MOD DEPTH, MOD SHAPE, PREAMP gain, and FEEDBACK with a 2× performative footswitch. The pedal includes user‑selectable dry signal routing for through‑zero effects and features an all‑analog preamp, true‑bypass relay switching, and top‑mounted jacks. It is handmade in Massachusetts, USA and requires a 9 V DC center‑negative power supply with at least 200 mA.
