Das Nero-Pedal kombiniert einen einzigartigen Fuzz-Schaltkreis mit einem eingebauten Gladio SC, der beide Schaltkreise gleichzeitig aktiviert und so einen gestapelten Drive-Effekt erzeugt. Es verfügt über einen „Comp“-Regler für das Kompressionsmanagement, der die Gesamtkompression verändert, und zwei unabhängige Bias-Regler („Voices“) für eine Reihe von Fuzz- und Overdrive-Sounds. Nero bietet eine flexible Gain-Regelung, eine hohe Eingangsimpedanz für die Vielseitigkeit auf dem Pedalboard, eine konstante Kompressionseinstellung und nahtlose Übergänge zwischen körnigem Fuzz und vollem Overdrive mit einem Fußschalter. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen lassen sich auch Gated Fuzz und schöne Cleanup-Effekte erzielen.
