PERCOLATOR FUZZ

FUZZ
Description
The Comodoro Percolator Fuzz is a boutique dirt pedal based on the iconic 1970s Interfax Harmonic Percolator circuit. The circuit incorporates a rare 2N404A germanium transistor to generate complex even- and odd-order harmonic saturation. Minor circuit modifications smooth the overall frequency response for increased versatility while retaining the aggressive bite of the vintage original. Two straightforward controls govern the unit, using a Harmonics knob to regulate input gain and distortion and a Volume knob to manage output level. Highly sensitive input dynamics allow players to clean up the clipping by adjusting the instrument's onboard volume knob. The pedal maintains tonal low-end clarity and articulation across diverse setups, performing reliably with both electric guitar and bass.Media
