Double speed Tremolo pedal handmade by the late great Cesar Diaz in Texas. 

Precision controls on the Diaz Tremodillo Tremolo include rate (speed of tremolo), dwell (depth of tremolo), and a speed stomp switch which doubles or halves the tremolo rate. On/off stomp switch and indicator light that flashes with the tremolo pulse. Power jack for external power source or use internal 9V battery.

Rorys Original-Booster war stark abgenutzt, funktionierte aber ansonsten einwandfrei. Sehr sorgfältig wurde er zerlegt und jede Komponente gemessen und aufgezeichnet. Die Schaltung wurde genau nachgezeichnet, aber wir haben das Design mit zuverlässigeren Drehpotis anstelle der ursprünglichen Schieberegler verbessert. Der ursprüngliche Booster hatte auch einen Zweiwege-Lautstärkeschalter, den wir durch einen variablen Drehpoti ersetzt haben. C&K-Schalter, Switchcraft-Sockel, Tantalum-Kapseln und die besten rauscharmen Bauteile machen den Flynn Amps Hawk zu einem würdigen Tribut an den größten Blues-Gitarristen der Welt.

Rory’s original booster was well used but otherwise functioning as it should. Very carefully it was deconstructed and each component measured and recorded. The circuit was redrawn exactly but we upgraded the design with more reliable rotary pots instead of the original sliders. The original booster also had a two way volume switch which we changed to a variable rotary pot control. C&K switch’s, Switchcraft sockets, Tantalum caps and the best low noise components make the Flynn Amps Hawk a fitting tribute to the worlds greatest blues guitarist.

Kompression gleicht Lautstärkeunterschiede aus, indem laute Töne abgesenkt und leise angehoben werden. Über den Attack-Regler des CS-3 legst du fest, wie schnell die Schaltung diese Anpassung vornimmt. Durch das Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn bleiben Saitenanschläge stärker erhalten und sorgen für einen knackigeren, perkussiven Klang. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Mit seinem charakteristischen, ausgewogenen Ansprech- und Kompressionsverhalten sorgt das Pedal für einen transparenten Klang über alle Spielstile hinweg. Ob knackige Country-Licks, druckvolle Power-Chords oder singende Soli – das CS-3 überzeugt als unverzichtbares Werkzeug für einen besseren Sound.
Mit dem Tone-Regler wird das CS-3 noch vielseitiger. Hierüber kontrollierst du den EQ des komprimierten Signals. Stärkere Einstellungen betonen die hohen Frequenzen und für einen schärferen, schneidenden Sound – perfekt für glockenklare Arpeggi, funkige Rhythmen und Passagen, die besonders herausstechen sollen. Je mehr du den Regler zurückdrehst, desto softer werden die Höhen, was einen warmen, weicheren Sound erzeugt, der sich besonders für Genre wie Jazz und Neo Soul eignet. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise. With its characteristic balanced response and compression characteristics, the pedal delivers transparent sound across all playing styles. Whether crisp country licks, powerful power chords, or singing solos, the CS-3 is an indispensable tool for better sound.
The tone control makes the CS-3 even more versatile. It lets you control the EQ of the compressed signal. Stronger settings emphasize the high frequencies and create a sharper, more cutting sound—perfect for crystal-clear arpeggios, funky rhythms, and passages that need to stand out. The more you turn the control back, the softer the highs become, creating a warm, softer sound that is particularly suitable for genres such as jazz and neo soul. Whether you need an extra dose of bite or velvet, the CS-3 lets you flexibly adapt your sound to your music.
