Triple Threat starts with a wide-range high gain distortion, with volume, gain, and tone controls to create a threatening rock sound. A classic phaser upgraded from the Pearl Tremor pedal by Donner is next with extended mod controls. Third in line is an analog voiced echo, originated from Donner’s first ever pedal, the Yellow Fall Delay released in 2013,  with warm analog tone and rich feedback. 

With upgraded circuit design and tuning the tone to Jack’s specifications, Donner combined three analog circuits into one metal enclosure, delivering unique analog sounds and versatile utility for musicians on the go. Third Man Hardware designed the external appearance of The Triple Threat, adding its signature patterns such as lightning bolts from the Tesla tower on the panel, three sharp stripes in front and  the signature diagrams from Third Man Hardware’s logo on both sides of the pedal.

The Dynamic Wah is an envelope filter (or autowah/touch wah) pedal with detailed effect character control. With the four knobs onboard you can easily create the wah sound of your own: you can make some wah sound like you’re playing with wah-wah pedals, or go deeper to create something unique and inspiring.

The Sure Shot Clipping Boost is a different kind of boost.  Is it high headroom? NO!  Is it Germanium?  Again, NOOOOPE!  This boost is designed to get dirty, but it does so in a very special way.  The Sure Shot has one single control on its face.  The LOUD control does just that, it makes you loud, but…it does it in a way that is unique amongst boosts.  As you increase the LOUD control, the Sure Shot will push your amp into overdrive, while it also pushes a pair of MA856 clipping diodes.  
This results in a very special tone—a LAYERED drive effect, in which the amp AND the pedal are both beginning to overdrive.  Now, this alone is truly special…but wait…there’s more.  If you run this in front of your favorite boost, overdrive, distortion, or even a second Sure Shot, you’ll find that it adds texture and juiciness to those sounds.  The audio image of the Sure Shot is purposely rooted in the 1970’s, with some areas slightly peaked out, and some frequencies tamped down just a bit.

The Del Mar was conceived in an effort to add a Tubescreamer-style clipping stage to the Klon Centaur. I’ve always loved the clean half of the Centaur, but my favourite clipping stage has always been the articulate and detailed response of the Tubescreamer.

My engineering sensibilities at the time were perhaps somewhat naive, and my attempts to incorporate aspects of the Klon, Tubescreamer and Bluesbreaker actually resulted in something that is not exactly like any of them.

In retrospect, I think that engineering things in the “wrong" way resulted in an inadvertently unique result, which at this stage and with the benefit of hindsight, is something I’ve come to be very proud of.

Same design as the original EHX Q-Tron but with extremely useful Effects Loop and an Attack Response Switch. The Effects Loop gives the musician the ability to place an additional effect, or chain of effects between the EHX Q-Tron Plus’s preamp and filter section without changing the envelope drive. This is particularly important with most distortion devices, as most all do not have much of an amplitude envelope. The FX loop will also fire up your creative juices to try all sorts of combinations in the effects loop: try the Micro POG into a Deluxe Memory Man. You can invent all sorts of novel effects. The added Response Switch selects between a slow, smooth, vowel-like attack and the fast, snaked response of the original Q-Tron.

Choose between inductors and turn the boost on or off with the side-mounted kickswitches; bright LEDs on each side of the wah indicate operation status. The Vertex Boost is expertly crafted to be a clean boost, buffer and volume pedal in one. The Boost is designed to leave your tone unchanged, while boosting the level of your signal. The Boost also features an ultra-linear buffer to condition your line with ZERO tonal coloration, even with dozens of pedals in your chain. Additionally, you have total volume control by connecting the Boost with any EXP or Volume Pedal and adjusting your volume as you would with a normal volume pedal. When the Boost is OFF, the EXP will function as a volume pedal (sweeping from silent to unity gain). When the Boost is ON, the EXP or Volume Pedal will control the boosted volume (sweeping from silent to wherever the Boost level knob is set). Since your guitar signal is isolated from the impedance of your chosen EXP or Volume Pedal, your tone remains open and full-range, and most importantly, it feels like you're plugged straight into your amp.
