Description
The AP1 Compact from Caveman Audio is a compact acoustic-guitar preamp and DI pedal that delivers the same preamp design and custom transformer as the full-size AP1. It offers a Hi-Z input suitable for piezo pickups or internal microphones and outputs a transformer-balanced XLR DI; it also includes a Tuner output and a mute function for silent tuning. The pedal is designed for low-voltage operation and accepts 9–18 V DC power. The enclosure is road-ready, built from zinc-plated steel, with the focus on clean, high-quality acoustic signal with minimal noise or interference.
