Description
An analog optical compressor pedal engineered to deliver vintage dynamic control and warm tonal coloring for electric and bass guitars. Operating with an internal light source interacting with a photo-sensitive cell, the circuit replicates classic studio opto-compression response. Four interactive controls provide comprehensive command over Gain, Level, Compression ratio, and Attack time. Adjusting the Gain knob regulates circuit pre-glow to fatten the tone and enhance compressor sensitivity. Output capability extends past unity gain via the Level control, allowing operation as a clean sustain boost. The unit features true bypass switching, distinctive chicken-head control knobs, and a rugged diecast metal housing.Media
