Designed around the legendary Hiwatt DR103 tube amplifier, the unit captures the headroom and crystal clarity of the original circuit to provide powerful tube tones suitable for both bass and guitar. It incorporates an internal high-voltage charge pump specifically built for tube audio alongside a new production JJ 12AX7 vacuum tube to deliver warm dynamic response and tube breakup. The passive equalizer section provides an intuitive, musical tone stack with a full and clear low-end response and adjustable presence. Equipped with true bypass switching, it functions effectively as an always-on preamp or overdrive stage.Media
