Handcrafted by Broughton Audio, the Resound is an analog acoustic simulator and tone-shaping preamplifier pedal engineered primarily for electric instruments. The circuit utilizes specialized multi-band active filtering networks designed to emulate the natural resonance, body dimension, and acoustic top response of stringed instruments. Dedicated controls allow precise sculpting of body depth, acoustic resonance frequency, high-end shimmer, and overall output level. Designed with high-headroom internal rail operation, it processes active and passive bass and guitar signals without unwanted compression or transient clipping. Low-noise components maintain full dynamic range and transient detail across the entire audio bandwidth.
