Description
The Broughton Audio Filter FX Loop is a utility pedal designed for blending external effects with a clean instrument signal through parallel paths featuring independent filtering controls. It incorporates a clean path with low-pass filtering and level adjustment alongside an effect path equipped with high-pass filtering, low-pass filtering, level control, and a phase inversion switch. The circuit splits the input signal to process frequency ranges individually before summing them back together at the output stage. Dedicated high-pass and low-pass filter knobs allow performers to sculpt the frequency response of modulation, reverb, or distortion effects to maintain low-end clarity or eliminate muddy characteristics. True bypass switching maintains pristine signal integrity when the pedal is disengaged from the signal chain.
