Description

Handcrafted by Broughton Audio, the Carina is a fully analog optical phaser pedal tailored for rich, dynamic modulation across bass and guitar frequencies. Utilizing optocouplers within its phase-shifting circuit, it delivers a smooth and warm sweep with natural harmonic movement. The control layout provides precise adjustment over sweep rate, depth, and regeneration/resonance to produce subtle movement or pronounced, swooping phase effects. A dedicated mix control allows balancing the dry input signal against the modulated signal for transparent operation. Internal headroom management ensures clean handling of high-output instrument signals and active preamps without unwanted distortion. Mechanical true bypass switching ensures complete signal integrity when the pedal is disengaged.
