Description
The Archetype Boost is an original high voltage tube booster housed in a compact enclosure and sharing a design lineage with the Archetype preamp. It features a topology that drives a JJ 12AX7 tube into asymmetric voltage swing to produce rich tube compression and harmonic grind when pushed hard. Functioning as a standalone tone sweetener or level-balancing tool, it stacks exceptionally well with other preamps and boost pedals. A custom boost converter powers the internal circuitry efficiently and noiselessly well beyond the audio region. It is equipped with true bypass switching and runs on standard external DC power requirements.Media
