Das Design und die Schaltungstopologie der Zonk Maschine mit 3 Transistoren ist dem MKI Tone Bender (entworfen von Gary Hurst) sehr ähnlich, aber die modifizierte Schaltung bietet einen etwas anderen, tighteren Sound mit weniger Low-End und mehr Boost als der Tone Bender. Aufgrund der begrenzten Produktionszeit sind Originale äußerst rar und gehören zu den begehrtesten Pedalen der Welt.

The British Pedal Company Compact Series Zonk Machine is a compact, modern replica of the original Zonk Machine MKI pedal that was developed by Wilsic Sound for John Hornby Skewes and produced in Leeds, England from 1965 to 1966. The design and circuit topology of the Zonk Machine looks very similar to the original MKI Tone Bender (designed by Gary Hurst) that uses a 3 transistor circuit, but the modified circuit offers a slightly different, tighter tone with less low-end and more boost than the Tone Bender. Based on the limited production period originals are exceptionally scarce and amongst the most sought-after pedals in the world.

The British Pedal Company Shatterbox from the Vintage Series is a detailed replica to the original John Hornby Skewes Shatterbox produced in Leeds, England around 1968/1969. The unit combines two classic effects: The Silicon-based Zonk II fuzz circuit and the Hornby Skewes Treble Boost circuit. The fuzz section provides as smooth, stable fuzz with a brighter tone than the original Zonk Machine MKI. Mitte der 1960er Jahre brachte Dallas Arbiter das Fuzz Face mit zwei Transistoren heraus. Dieses britische Fuzz wurde von unzähligen Künstlern wie David Gilmour und Jimi Hendrix verwendet. Die British Pedal Company freut sich, ihr eigenes Dallas Brit Face Pedal anbieten zu können, das diese klassischen 1960er Zwei-Transistor-Schaltungen in einem pedalboardfreundlichen Gehäuse unterbringt. Zwei Modelle sind erhältlich: Silber (bestückt mit Germanium NKT275 Transistoren) und Schwarz (bestückt mit Silizium BC109A Transistoren).

In the mid 1960s Dallas Arbiter released the two transistor Fuzz face. This British fuzz went on to be used by countless artists such as David Gilmour and Jimi Hendrix. The British Pedal company are pleased to offer their own Dallas Brit Face Pedal which takes those classic 1960s, two transistor circuits and housed them in a pedalboard friendly casing. Two models will be available, Silver (Loaded with Germanium NKT275 transistors) and Black (Loaded with Silicon BC109A Transistors).
