Recreating the sound profile of vintage V8 Sovtek Big Muff Pi fuzz units, the Blue Colander Black Emperor Mini packs the heavy low-end and high-gain response of the original circuit into a pedalboard-friendly 125B enclosure. It features a simplified control interface paired with two mini toggle switches that unlock distinct tonal configurations. One toggle swaps the standard tone stack for a Pro Co Rat-style filter control to recover prominent midrange frequencies, while the other engages a blast mode for an aggressive, biting note attack and enhanced low-frequency depth. The unit incorporates a relay-based true bypass switching system and is powered via an external direct current source.Media
