The B-TRON III is a vintage envelope filter that creates a “Wah” or “vowel” sound every time you play a note. It includes three filter types via the Mode switch that includes low-, band-, or high-pass settings for a nice quack or a nice high-frequency sizzle. It works great for bringing the funk with either guitar, bass or keyboards.
The Range switch on the B-TRON III can be toggled between low, so you can get more vowel-like sounds, or high to emphasize more overtones. And the Up and Down modes on the Drive switch can give you that traditional “Wah” sound or a cocked “Wow” sound.

Wenn Du denkst, dass Du schon alles gehört hast, was ein Auto-Wah tun kann, dann lehne Dich zurück und höre Dir das DW400 an! Dies ist ein außergewöhnlich ausdrucksstarkes Wah-Pedal.

Ein Wah-Pedal verwendet einen Filter, um ein breites Frequenzspektrum zu durchlaufen und bestimmte Töne zu verstärken und zu übertreiben. Wenn sich der Sweep den höheren Frequenzen nähert, entstehen vokalähnliche Klänge, die an die menschliche Stimme erinnern. Bei den ersten Wah-Pedalen wurde dieser Sweep durch manuelle Betätigung eines Fußschalters gesteuert, der an eine Wippe erinnerte. Beim DW400 erfolgt der Sweep automatisch, je nach den Vorgaben deiner Steuerung. Du kannst aber auch ein Expression-Pedal anschließen (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten), um ganz altmodisch zu arbeiten. Und mit der Real Sound Modeling-Technologie von BERHINGER emuliert der DW400 die menschliche Stimme wie kein anderer seiner Art.

A wah pedal uses a filter to sweep through a wide frequency spectrum, boosting and exaggerating specific tones. As the sweep approaches the higher frequencies, the result is vowel-like sounds reminiscent of the human voice. In the earliest wah pedals, this sweep was controlled by manual manipulation of a footswitch reminiscent of a see-saw. With the DW400, the sweep occurs automatically according to your control specifications. Or you can plug in an expression pedal (not included) to go old-school. And with BERHINGER’s Real Sound Modeling technology, the DW400 emulates the human voice like nothing of its kind.

You can either control the DW400’s frequency sweeps by tapping a tempo with your foot or by simply setting the dials. You’ll have your guitar speaking in tongues after selecting one of three modes: Synth/Up/Down, Human Voice and Tap Tempo Modes. Next, tweak the Vowel (A/E/I/O/U) Sensitivity, Manual Vowel selection and Decay dials to create exactly the wah sound you desire.
