Jack Whites Third Man Hardware und Beetronics haben sich zusammengetan, um das „Old Zoo Lion Meat“ exklusiv auf – und im – Reverb-Shop auf den Markt zu bringen. Das Fuzz-Pedal in limitierter Auflage wurde am 24. Juli 2026 beim Third Man Hardware x Reverb-Pop-up-Event im Reverb-Hauptsitz in Chicago vorgestellt. The limited-edition fuzz pedal was unveiled July 24th, 2026, at the Third Man Hardware x Reverb pop-up event at Reverb’s Chicago HQ. Numbered to just 333, the pedals will be sold at the event, with a small portion available here in the Third Man Hardware Reverb Shop.

MXR und Third Man Hardware haben sich zusammengetan, um den perfekten Booster für Live-Gitarristen zu entwickeln. Das Double Down Pedal vereint zwei separate MXR Micro Amp-Schaltkreise in einem einzigen Gehäuse, sodass du mit nur einem Pedal zwei verschiedene Signalwege mit genau dem richtigen Maß an klassischem Micro Amp-Boost verstärken kannst.  

Der einzelne Eingang des Double Down Pedals splittet dein Signal auf zwei separate Ausgänge, die jeweils über einen eigenen Gain-Regler verfügen und bis zu +26dB an Signalverstärkung liefern. Auf der linken Seite des Gehäuses befindet sich ein Phase-Schalter, der durch Phasenumkehr des zweiten Ausgangssignals einen ausgeprägten Stereoeffekt erzeugt. Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich ein Buffer-Schalter, mit dem du zwischen True Bypass – für Puristen – und gepuffertem Bypass wählen kannst, um den Klang bei der Nutzung von zwei Signalwegen konsistent zu halten.

MXR and Third Man Hardware have teamed up to create the perfect booster for gigging guitar players. The Double Down Pedal combines two separate MXR Micro Amp circuits into a single box so that you can heat up two separate signal chains with just the right amount of classic Micro Amp bump.
 
The Double Down Pedal’s single input jack splits your signal to two separate outputs, each with its own Gain control for up to +26dB of signal-boosting power. On the left side of the housing is a Phase switch that adds a pronounced stereophonic effect by inverting the phase of the second output signal. On the right side of the pedal is a Buffer switch so that you can choose between true bypass—for the purists—and buffered bypass switching to keep your sound intact when driving two signal chains.

As heard prominently on Jack White’s guitar solo in “Why Walk a Dog?”, this monophonic synth-fuzz has delighted and bewildered listeners since Jack began using it back in 2014. The Triplegraph is a digital octave pedal designed by CopperSound Pedals and Jack White, featuring three proprietary telegraph keys and an integrated auxiliary loop. Utilizing a high-power DSP Blackfin Processor, Triplegraph triggers an octave down with the left key, octave up with the right key, while the middle key activates a killswitch or auxiliary loop. In KILL mode, the middle key acts as a momentary killswitch, allowing the player to remove their dry signal and attain a fully wet octave up and/or down when used in conjunction with the octave keys. In AUXILIARY mode, the player can connect one or more of their favorite effects in parallel with the octaves via the send/return jacks, and trigger them in momentary bursts. The high and low octaves can be triggered in parallel with the dry signal when the octave keys are pressed independently. The octaves themselves track seamlessly with zero latency, and can be triggered in latching or momentary modes, using our “Loctave” toggle switches. The telegraph keys themselves are composed of custom stainless steel and aluminum components, making them indestructible and exceedingly durable for both hand and foot operation. Over four years in the making, the collaborative result is an innovative, state of the art clean-tracking octave pedal, capable of standing its own against industry standards.

Triple Threat starts with a wide-range high gain distortion, with volume, gain, and tone controls to create a threatening rock sound. A classic phaser upgraded from the Pearl Tremor pedal by Donner is next with extended mod controls. Third in line is an analog voiced echo, originated from Donner’s first ever pedal, the Yellow Fall Delay released in 2013,  with warm analog tone and rich feedback. 

With upgraded circuit design and tuning the tone to Jack’s specifications, Donner combined three analog circuits into one metal enclosure, delivering unique analog sounds and versatile utility for musicians on the go. The controls give you nearly infinite possibilities. While the "Body" switch it's great for when you are switching guitars on a set or just feel like adding a low end boost, the "Hive" switch can make you sound bigger and fatter, or tighter and thinner. The Royal Jelly is an overdrive/fuzz blender like no other pedal. It can cover any ground from overdrive to fuzz, running two circuits in parallel and giving you the possibility of blending it or having them separately. The presets allow you not only to have two different sounds on the fly, but also make for a very natural transition between them, since instead of switching pedals, you are mixing the levels between your overdrive and fuzz.
It’s also possible to blend in your dry signal, a great feature for bass, drums and synths or any studio use. On the guitar the DRY control is great to create unique clean tones with a fuzzy background.
