Zu den Effekten des MD-500 zählen zahlreiche neue Prime-Variationen auf Basis aktuellster BOSS-Technologie sowie klangliche Nachbildungen von Vintage-Klassikern, wie dem CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, dem Roland Dimension D, ‘70s Script-Phaser, ‘80s Tri-Chorus, und vielen mehr. Im A/B Simul-Modus lassen sich zwei Patches gleichzeitig verwenden. Auf diese Weise deckt das MD-500 nahezu alle deine Modulationsanforderungen mit nur einem Pedal ab. Durch Hinzufügen von Drive-Pedalen über die Insert-Loop-Funktion lassen sich Modulationseffekte je nach Soundvorstellung einfach vor, hinter oder um einen Loop herum positionieren.

Based on advanced BOSS technology, the ultra-versatile MD-500 offers almost every modulation effect a musician needs. The MD-500 has 28 different algorithms with deep programming options for a nearly endless palette of sounds. Thanks to the 32-bit AD/DA conversion with 32-bit floating-point calculation and a continuous 96 kHz sampling rate, the MD-500 guarantees absolutely pristine sound that outshines even the best studio hardware.

The effects of the MD-500 include numerous new Prime variations based on the latest BOSS technology as well as tonal recreations of vintage classics such as the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, the Roland Dimension D, '70s Script-Phaser, '80s Tri- chorus, and many more. In A/B Simul mode, two patches can be used simultaneously. In this way, the MD-500 covers almost all of your modulation needs with just one pedal. By adding drive pedals via the insert loop function, modulation effects can be easily positioned before, after or around a loop.

The Honey Bee sounds and reacts like small vintage combos with nicely worn tubes and speakers. Our new standard version provides extended Drive range and additional tweakability with the Treble control...from a tasty 'Honey Boost' with drive down to extra grunt and gristle with everything up. 

The Drive knob varies the distortion complexity and saturation. Nature adjusts the EQ. Begin with this control at straight-up “noon.” To the right there is a subtle adjustment to the upper frequencies with the most treble at full clockwise. Turning this control counterclockwise from noon adds in lows and changes the distortion saturation interactively with the Drive knob. And at full counterclockwise, the Honey Bee is fully bloated and saturated like a small combo pushed to its limits. The Volume knob controls the overall volume without changing the distortion.
