VISION is a dual channel modulation pedal, supporting stereo input and output. Both of the two effects have independent SPEED/RATE, CONTROL, and DEPTH/MIX knobs. In the middle of the panel, a 3-position toggle switch is used for choosing the sequence of the two effects’ output. Besides, each channel features 9 effects, you can adjust various tones with the independent Tap Tempo control.

Distortion level can be controlled by pick attack and pickup strength. Harder picking for overdrive and softer for a cleaner tone. With the unique Focus control, you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal as well as overall EQ. Turning Focus CCW you need to play harder to get distortion and the tone is softer, great for jazz and blues. Focus turned CW gives a slight treble boost and earlier distortion great for classic rock.

DS-2 Turbo Distortion

Die japanische Firma Zoom ist ja allseits bekannt durch ihre zumeist sehr günstig angebotenen Effektprozessoren. Begonnen hatte alles vor gut 20 Jahren, als die damals noch junge Company mit ihren miniaturisierten Geräten, wie etwa dem Modell 9002, die Fachwelt in Staunen versetzte. Eine komplette Gitarrenvorstufe mit allen erdenklichen Effekten in der Größe einer Jumbo Zigarettenschachtel – so etwas hatte es bis dato noch nicht gegeben. Doch im Kapitalismus schläft ja die Konkurrenz bekanntlich nie und so standen die Geräte von Zoom stets mehr oder weniger im Schatten der marktbeherrschenden Firmen, allen voran natürlich BOSS oder DigiTech. Zumindest im Pro-Sektor, denn unter den „einfachen Bodentretminen“ für günstiges Geld findet man zumeist etwas Passendes im Angebot bei Zoom. Eine Art „einfache Bodentretmine“ ist auch unser heutiges Testmodell, das Zoom Multistomp MS-50G. Obwohl das vielleicht nicht ganz der Wahrheit entspricht, denn in dem unscheinbaren Gehäuse in Form und Aussehen eines einfachen Single-Effektpedals versteckt sich durchaus mehr. Zumindest mehr, als es der Preis von unter 100,- Euro vermuten lässt. Das brandneue Zoom Multistomp MS-50G nun also im Test auf Amazona.de.

While it is commonplace to add a buffer at the beginning of the signal chain, we find this to best at the end for optimum results. That said, it’ll work great anywhere you decide to place it. Originally designed by Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and graphic designer, Daniel Danger as a homage to Electro-Harmonix in what Josh and Daniel consider the company’s design heyday of the 1970s, the EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz is a nano-sized version of the pedal brought to life by the engineers at Electro-Harmonix that has all of the tones and vibes of the original circuit design by Josh. The tone is inspired by EHX’s fuzz pedigree with a unique analog octave up circuit that has all the vibe of the original design first featured on the JHS Show in 2022. This creates a completely new and unique EHX fuzz sound we’ve never heard before. To further tell the tale, the pedal is adorned with vintage EHX-inspired graphics designed by Daniel.

Housed in EHX’s Nano-sized chassis, the EHX Lizard Queen is a fixed gain fuzz pedal which features Volume, Octave, and Balance knobs. Volume controls the overall output volume level. The Octave control adjusts the level of the octave-up signal from zero to full octave chaos. Perfect for dialing in a crushing rhythm sound or a chimey, clanging lead sound. The Balance knob sets the tone balance between the smoother Shadow setting and the raspy, biting Sun setting. The effect of the Balance control is especially apparent with the octave set high.

The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections. The XLR thru connection can be used as signal output from your pedalboard to the console or PA.

Zwei Fußschalter sind hintereinander angeordnet, was Platz auf Effektpedalbrettern spart. Zwei wählbare Modi für Latch oder Momentary ermöglichen die Steuerung einer breiten Palette von Geräten.

FS-7 is a compact dual footswitch for remote control of effect pedals or amp channel switching. Two footswitches are arranged in tandem, which saves space on effects pedal boards. Two selectable modes for latch or momentary allow for control of a wide range of equipment.

The StompMix 4 Compact Digital Mixer Pedal is built with a powerful 32-bit 100Mhz DSP engine and a compact lightweight stomp box package.  The StompMix 4 offers a full featured, highly intuitive four channels Digital Mixer with a Color Display.  The DSP engine provides a compressor,  Mid sweepable EQ, Highpass Filter, Notch Filter, Phase reverse to each of the 4 inputs. Analog inputs consisted of 2 Class A solid-state Mic pre-amps with +48V Phantom power and two 1/4″ TS line inputs.  Two sets of stereo Mix outputs are selectable between a 1/8″ TRS jack and 2 1/4″ TS jacks .  2 Footswitches with assignable functions.

The POT is pretty much the same as half of the King of Tone, with an external MODE switch standard. It is the same as the KOT with HIGHER GAIN option, so you can use the full range of the DRIVE knob and it has a little more drive at the top than a normal gain KOT. The DISTORTION mode is improved though, for a louder, stronger distortion sound.
