A buffer is an important tool to combat tone loss with long cable runs or in signal chains running lots of true bypass pedals. With its high 1 Mohm input impedance and low 100 ohm output impedance, the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp will restore your tonal integrity and give you back the clear and dynamic signal you deserve and your amp craves. Want more? Not only will it restore high end loss, this device has a little trick up its sleeve that will also give your low end a subtle, yet powerful, little kick for some added dimension. 
While it is commonplace to add a buffer at the beginning of the signal chain, we find this to best at the end for optimum results. That said, it’ll work great anywhere you decide to place it. For best results, make sure the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp is placed AFTER any fuzz pedals that typically like to see the guitar at their input.

Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive (SHOD) is a touch sensitive low gain overdrive pedal. It is designed to overdrive distorted amplifiers and give dynamically controlled light overdrive on clean sounds.

Distortion level can be controlled by pick attack and pickup strength. Harder picking for overdrive and softer for a cleaner tone. With the unique Focus control, you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal as well as overall EQ. Turning Focus CCW you need to play harder to get distortion and the tone is softer, great for jazz and blues. Focus turned CW gives a slight treble boost and earlier distortion great for classic rock.

Kürzlich pilgerte ein Team von Dunlop-Ingenieuren nach Seattle, um einen originalen Octavio zu untersuchen und zu dokumentieren - den heiligen Gral des Oktavtons. Sie haben mit liebevoller Sorgfalt gemessen und gescannt. Das Ergebnis? Das Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio ist ein exakter Klon des erstaunlichen „octave up“-Pedals, mit dem Jimi Rockgeschichte geschrieben hat. Es ist alles da: jeder Knopf und jede Buchse, ein DPDT Ein/Aus-Schalter und genau das gleiche Schaltungslayout, das originalgetreu vom „Breadboard“ kopiert wurde, Bedienelemente auf der Vorderseite, mit denen du genau die richtige Menge an Fuzz einstellen und den Gesamtpegel anpassen kannst. Besitze ein kleines Stück von Jimi - den Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio.

A true Rock N’ Roll artifact—Hendrix’s chipped, off-white, “cheese wedge” pedal with hand stenciled lettering—is enshrined at the Experience Music Project, Seattle’s hallowed rock and roll museum.

Jimi’s original octave dividers don’t look like much, but these magic boxes produced the unforgettable fuzzed-out octave tones heard on the legendary Band of Gypsys: Live at Fillmore East performance.

Recently a team of Dunlop engineers made a pilgrimage to Seattle to examine and document an original Octavio—the holy grail of octave tone. They measured and scoped with loving care. The result? The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio is an exact clone of the amazing “octave up” pedal that Jimi used to make rock history. It’s all here: every knob and jack, a DPDT on/off switch, and the exact same circuit layout faithfully copied from the original “breadboard,” front-panel controls which let you dial in just the right amount of fuzz and adjust overall level. Own a little piece of Jimi—the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio.
