FW-3 Foot Wah

BUFFER
WAH
Description
Produced from 1992 to 1996, the unit delivers traditional foot-controlled analog filter sweeps utilizing a specialized slide potentiometer rather than a conventional rotary pot and gear mechanism. The core analog topology is closely related to the classic inductor-based wah architecture while incorporating an adjustable side-mounted Peak control to modify the resonance and Q curve of the bandpass filter. A front-panel treadle foot plate allows expressive real-time dynamic frequency manipulation for both lead and rhythm playing styles. A dedicated Remote jack enables external footswitch connection to toggle the effect on or off without altering the mechanical treadle position. High-impedance buffering ensures minimal signal attenuation across long instrument cable runs. Built into a heavy-duty metal chassis, the design ensures enduring physical resilience under rigorous stage conditions. What's missing here?
