SD-1W Super Overdrive (Waza Craft)

Launched in 1976, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was not only the world’s first chorus effect pedal, but also the very first BOSS pedal. Three years later, this inventive new sound was squeezed into the blue CE-2 Chorus, and chorus pedals have remained in the compact lineup ever since. Four decades on, the spacious modulated tone of the signature BOSS effect is still loved by musicians everywhere. In 2016, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BOSS innovation, the original analog chorus sounds are now reborn with the Waza Craft CE-2W. The CE-2W’s Standard mode faithfully recreates the classic CE-2 chorus sound, and adds an expansive new sound field with stereo output, which was unavailable in the mono CE-2. CE-1 mode fully reproduces the stereo chorus and vibrato sounds of the legendary CE-1, with the addition of variable chorus depth not available in the original pedal. To commemorate the birth of BOSS effects, the CE-2W is made exclusively in Japan, just as the original CE-1 and CE-2 were.

Kompression gleicht Lautstärkeunterschiede aus, indem laute Töne abgesenkt und leise angehoben werden. Über den Attack-Regler des CS-3 legst du fest, wie schnell die Schaltung diese Anpassung vornimmt. Durch das Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn bleiben Saitenanschläge stärker erhalten und sorgen für einen knackigeren, perkussiven Klang. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Mit seinem charakteristischen, ausgewogenen Ansprech- und Kompressionsverhalten sorgt das Pedal für einen transparenten Klang über alle Spielstile hinweg. Ob knackige Country-Licks, druckvolle Power-Chords oder singende Soli – das CS-3 überzeugt als unverzichtbares Werkzeug für einen besseren Sound.
Mit dem Tone-Regler wird das CS-3 noch vielseitiger. Hierüber kontrollierst du den EQ des komprimierten Signals. Stärkere Einstellungen betonen die hohen Frequenzen und für einen schärferen, schneidenden Sound – perfekt für glockenklare Arpeggi, funkige Rhythmen und Passagen, die besonders herausstechen sollen. Je mehr du den Regler zurückdrehst, desto softer werden die Höhen, was einen warmen, weicheren Sound erzeugt, der sich besonders für Genre wie Jazz und Neo Soul eignet. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise. With its characteristic balanced response and compression characteristics, the pedal delivers transparent sound across all playing styles. Whether crisp country licks, powerful power chords, or singing solos, the CS-3 is an indispensable tool for better sound.
The tone control makes the CS-3 even more versatile. It lets you control the EQ of the compressed signal. Stronger settings emphasize the high frequencies and create a sharper, more cutting sound—perfect for crystal-clear arpeggios, funky rhythms, and passages that need to stand out. The more you turn the control back, the softer the highs become, creating a warm, softer sound that is particularly suitable for genres such as jazz and neo soul. Whether you need an extra dose of bite or velvet, the CS-3 lets you flexibly adapt your sound to your music.

Im Jahre 1968 drang ein schneidender Gitarrensound durch die Lautsprecher der Welt – in den Beatles Songs auf „Revolution 1“. Dies ist wohl das berühmteste Beispiel für eine direkt an das Mischpult angeschlossen Gitarre, um den Sound, der mittlerweile als „Direct-In Distortion“ bezeichnet wird zu erreichen. Dieser Sound ist einer der einzigartigsten Gitarrensounds mit enormem Wiedererkennungswert, der in den letzten 60 Jahren unzählige Gitarristen und auch die JHS Colour Box inspiriert hat. Viele haben daraufhin eine etwas abgespeckte Version der Colour Box angefragt – eine schlichte Direct-in dirt box, ohne XLR, ohne 3-Band EQ… Einfach nur simplen Dirt. Also haben JHS einfach den Crayon aus der Colour Box herausgenommen…

In 1968 a piercing guitar tone came through the speakers on the Beatles “Revolution 1”. This is one of the most famous uses of plugging a guitar straight into a mixing console and creating the now referred to as “Direct-In Distortion". That tone is one of the most recognizable and unique guitar tones of the last 60 years and was one of the inspirations for the JHS Colour Box that we released in May of 2014. Many players over the last few years have expressed their interest in a unit that is like the Colour Box but more streamlined for the one basic application of a dirt box. No XLR function, no 3 band EQ… Just the dirt in an easy to use format for guitarists… So JHS decided to pull the Crayon out of the Colour Box.

The Archer Ikon is sort of a 2 in one pedal. It can be used as just a clean boost by turning the gain all the way down. As you introduce gain it will attenuate the clean signal but you will find that there is a magical blend in between.

This is JHS’ "Everything low to medium gain" pedal. The Double Barrel is for the player who needs a versatile but transparent overdrive at medium and light gain levels. You won’t find face melting distortion here, but you will find overdrive with the character and stacking abilities to cover most any tonal need. The right side is JHS' Moonshine V2 which is a highly unique and massively tweaked version of the most famous overdrive ever created housed in a little green enclosure. It also features the new “Clean” knob to blend in the perfect amount of clean signal with your overdrive signal. The left side is JHS’s #1 selling “Morning Glory” overdrive. Das Dunlop CBJ95 Cry Baby Junior Wah wurde speziell für den Einsatz auf Pedalboards entwickelt. Die Anschlüsse für Input, Output und die Stromversorgen befinden sich auf der Stirnseite des Pedals und ermöglichen so eine engere Konfiguration der Pedale und schaffen Platz an den Seiten, der normalerweise von den Kabeln eingenommen wird. Das kompakte Gehäuse mit ca. 20 cm Länge passt perfekt auf eine Vielzahl von Boards und ermöglicht eine schöne, saubere Anordnung der Kabel. Das Cry Baby Junior Wah überzeugt neben dem kompakten Design vor allem durch die vielfältigen Sounds. An der Seite des Pedals befindet sich ein Schalter, mit dem sich drei unterschiedliche Voicings und Sweep-Bereiche auswählen lassen: Das H-Setting bietet den aggressiven, modernen Klang des GCB95, das M-Setting liefert den satten Midrange-Growl alter Vintage Wahs und das L-Setting überzeugt mit einem dunklen und satten Sound.

The Cry Baby Junior Wah is purpose-built for pedalboards. Designed in collaboration with Pedaltrain, this wah has been carefully crafted for maximum layout efficiency on the world's most popular boards. Front-mounted input, output, and power jacks allow for a tighter configuration of pedals, freeing up space on the sides that would normally be taken up by cable ends. And speaking of cables, the Cry Baby Junior Wah's 8" housing length lines up perfectly with the routing spaces on boards such as those from Pedaltrain's Metro Series, in particular—as well as those from the Classic, Novo, and Terra Series—making for a nice, clean arrangement of cords.

The Cry Baby Junior Wah allows for just as much versatility in tone as it does for your pedalboard layout. On the side of the pedal is a convenient and accessible three-position switch that allows you to choose one of our three most popular Cry Baby Wah voices, covering the full frequency spectrum. The H setting gives you the aggressive modern sound of the GCB95, M provides the midrange growl of vintage wah pedals, and L provides a sound that's dark and rich.

Es verfügt über Regler für Time, Repeats, Reverb und Mix und ist True Bypass. Die Version 3 ist mit der neuen Flexi-Switch™ -Technologie ausgestattet, die den Fußschalter sowohl als Momentary- als auch Latching-Schalter nutzbar macht und basiert auf einer geräuschlosen, relais-basierter Soft-Touch-Schaltung! Der Flexi Switch Momentary Modus wird aktiviert, indem du den Fußschalter so lange gedrückt hältst, wie du den Effekt verwenden willst. Lasse ihn los und dein Signal ist wieder dry. Um das Dispatch Master als normales Pedal zu verwenden, drücke den Schalter einfach einmal, um es zu aktivieren, und erneut, um es in Bypass zu schalten. Das Dispatch Master V3 wird in Ohio, USA handgefertigt.

The Dispatch Master V3 is a delay and reverb pedal, whose effects can be used independently or simultaneously. It has 1.5 seconds of delay time and a dynamic reverb that goes from natural and roomy to cavernous and deep. It features controls for Time, Repeats, Reverb and Mix and it's true bypass. The V3 version features the new Flexi-Switch™ Technology, which allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching-style switching. It's based on the silent relay-based soft touch switching! It works by pressing and holding the footswitch for as long as the effect it's been used, releasing it, and resuming for dry sound. To use the Dispatch Master as a normal effects pedal, press the switch once to activate and again to bypass. The Dispatch Master V3 is hand made in Ohio, USA.
