The MXR Uni-Vibe Chorus/Vibrato delivers the same lush, chewy textures that players have used since the late '60s. Updated with modern gigging players in mind, this effect now it comes in a standard MXR housing—a fraction of the size and weight of the original—with true bypass switching.

With its simple three-knob interface, you can dial in the effect to your taste in short order. First, use the VIBE switch to select either Chorus Mode—dry signal mixed with pitch-shifted signal—or Vibrato Mode—only pitch-shifted signal. Then, use the LEVEL control to set the effect volume, the SPEED control to set the sweep rate, and the DEPTH control to set overall intensity.

Edward Van Halen's Gitarrensound auf dem Debüt Album von1978 katapultierte ihn schlagartig in dem Olymp des Rock und selbst nach mehr als 25 Jahren hat die Gitarrenarbeit auf diesem Album nichts von ihrer Faszination eingebüßt. Der Phase 90 trug maßgeblich zu den zeitlosen Gitarrensounds von “Eruption,“ “Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love,“ “On Fire,“ und “Atomic Punk“, sowie vieler anderer klassischer Van Halen Stücke bei. Entstanden aus einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen Eddie Van Halen und Jim Dunlop ist der EVH 90 eine komplett neu designte Version des legendären Phase 90. Der EVH 90 zeigt genau die gleichen räumlichen Klangverwirbelungen und hypnotischen Phasenverschiebungen, die den Phase 90 so berühmt machten. Das BOSS DS-2 Turbo Distortion ist eine Weiterentwicklung des klassischen DS-1 Sounds.
Es bietet zwei wählbare Modi, die unterschiedliche Verzerrungscharaktere für Rhythmus und Lead liefern. Modus I erzeugt eine warme und gleichmäßige Verzerrung, ideal für Akkorde und Basis-Sounds.
Modus II hebt die Mitten an und sorgt für durchsetzungsfähige Soloklänge. Über die Remote-Buchse lässt sich der Modus mit einem externen Fußschalter umschalten. Das robuste Kompaktgehäuse macht es zuverlässig für Bühne und Studio.

The BOSS DS-2 Turbo Distortion delivers a powerful evolution of the classic DS-1 sound. It offers two selectable modes that provide distinct distortion voices for rhythm and lead playing. Mode I delivers a warm and even distortion ideal for chords and general drive tones. Mode II boosts the mids for sharper attack and solo tones that cut through a mix. The pedal includes a remote jack to switch modes using an external footswitch. Its rugged compact design makes it reliable for both stage and studio use.

Kompression gleicht Lautstärkeunterschiede aus, indem laute Töne abgesenkt und leise angehoben werden. Über den Attack-Regler des CS-3 legst du fest, wie schnell die Schaltung diese Anpassung vornimmt. Durch das Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn bleiben Saitenanschläge stärker erhalten und sorgen für einen knackigeren, perkussiven Klang. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Mit seinem charakteristischen, ausgewogenen Ansprech- und Kompressionsverhalten sorgt das Pedal für einen transparenten Klang über alle Spielstile hinweg. Stärkere Einstellungen betonen die hohen Frequenzen und für einen schärferen, schneidenden Sound – perfekt für glockenklare Arpeggi, funkige Rhythmen und Passagen, die besonders herausstechen sollen. Je mehr du den Regler zurückdrehst, desto softer werden die Höhen, was einen warmen, weicheren Sound erzeugt, der sich besonders für Genre wie Jazz und Neo Soul eignet. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise.
