Description
Developed in collaboration with Dream Theater bassist John Myung, the Ashdown Double Drive is a dual-channel distortion pedal designed for six-string bass precision. It features two independent, stackable drive circuits: Drive 1 provides harmonic saturation with Gain, Loud, and Tone controls, while Drive 2 offers a vintage fuzz-style growl via Grit and Burn parameters. The unit is housed in a 1.6mm Zintec steel chassis with an alloy over-panel and unique dual VU meters for real-time monitoring of input and output signals. It includes a transformer-isolated balanced DI output with a ground lift for professional stage and studio integration.Media
