The micro-Thumpinator is a bandwidth optimizer designed for bass guitar. It removes the low frequency signals that are outside the range of notes produced by the instrument.

Infrasonic frequencies cannot be reproduced by standard bass cabinets but they often make amplifiers clip, especially when they are set to boost the lower frequencies. The Thumpinator filters the signal content optimising the energy delivered by the amplifier. Low-frequency clip is substantially reduced and the sound is tighter especially at high volume levels.

The micro-Thumpinator accepts instrument and line level signals. It can be used between preamplifier and amplifier, between bass and amplifier or anywhere in the effect chain (line or instrument level). It can also be connected directly to an audio interface.

The Meris Ottobit Jr. is arcade dreams reborn! It brings an era when silicon defined sonics that were burned in our memory for years back to live and directly to your pedalboard. Angelo of Meris was asked to design a filter to tame the harsher bitcrush settings. And damn, that filter sounds good… almost like an analog synth. There is an infinite amount of cool sounds you can get out of this pedal, so that’s what drove the decision to add MIDI and presets under the hood. To call it a bitcrusher would be an insult. The triggered stutter and pitch/filter/crush sequencers take you to side scrolling, coin collecting maze worlds. Add in a resonant low pass filter that competes with the best analog synths and would make grandpa SID proud. You want games? The Ottobit Jr. will give you games!

The aim of the game: remove the need for an amp. I've always wanted an "all in one" pedalboard that can act as my entire rig. 

Origin Effects were kind enough to send me some pedals to make an entire pedalboard using their pedals - challenge accepted! 

Here we have both of their BassRig preamps. Why? Problem is, I love the preamp on the Black Panel, but LOVE the cab sim on the Super Vintage... So essentially, the SVT style preamp is just acting as a very expensive cab sim (overkill, I know) 

So we've got a tuner, compression, drive, preamp/cabsim, all into the Ashdown Ant which is a pedal sized 200 watt power amp to move some air through a cab on stage. Lovely!
