Description

This high-gain fuzz pedal is a reimagining of the classic Maestro FZ-1B circuit, modified for significantly increased output and low-end authority. It features a toggle switch to select between Vintage mode, which provides a sputtery "zipper" texture with loose response, and Modern mode, which offers a tighter low end and faster attack for articulate riffing. The circuit includes an integrated, bypassable noise gate to manage high-gain hiss or create aggressive gated decay effects. While maintaining its vintage DNA, the pedal provides levels of saturation and sustain comparable to a Big Muff. The unit is designed for versatility, covering everything from 60s rasp to dense 90s alternative wall-of-sound textures.
