Description
Velvet-noise decorrelation algorithms create natural acoustic scattering between left and right channels rather than relying on conventional phase-shifting or micro-delay tricks. Centered around a Spin Semiconductor FV-1 digital signal processor paired with a discrete JFET input preamp, the design maintains full mono compatibility and center image integrity without comb filtering. Single-knob operation controls the progressive blend of the widened signal with the dry path. Higher knob settings introduce subtle modulation to twin delay lines to enhance spatial separation. Internally selectable mono or stereo routing modes allow flexible integration across varied rig configurations. Soft-touch buffered bypass and top-mounted jacks ensure transparent switching and pedalboard-friendly routing.Media
