Description

The Akai MPC Live III is a standalone music production center and groove workstation designed for beatmaking, sampling, sequencing, and full music creation without needing a computer. It features a large touchscreen and an enhanced control surface with 16 velocity-sensitive RGB MPCe pads that include 3D sensor technology for expressive play and advanced performance control. The unit runs the MPC3 operating system, has a powerful 8-core processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, built-in stereo speakers and condenser microphone for field recording and sampling, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for mobile use. It offers comprehensive connectivity including combo XLR/TRS inputs with mic preamps, multiple outputs, and USB-C for audio streaming and integration with DAWs. The sequencer supports 16-step programming, clip launching, plugin tracks, and professional workflow features that make the Live III a complete production hub in a compact form factor.
