The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections. Der MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe basiert auf reiner analoger Bucket-Brigade-Technologie, die schimmernde, flüssige Chorus- und rauschende, metallische Flanger-Effekte liefert und dabei den Punch und das Fundament deines Low Ends bewahrt.

Der Bass Chorus Deluxe verfügt über Flanger- und X-Over-Tasten auf der Oberseite mit LED-Statusanzeigen. Im X-Over-Modus wird die Modulation in den tiefen Frequenzen auf 100 Hz abgesenkt - perfekt für das Spielen von Akkorden, Melodien und Fills in den oberen Registern, während die tiefen Frequenzen in der richtigen Stimmung bleiben. Mit den Reglern für Bass und Treble können Sie die Tiefen und Höhen absenken oder anheben und den Klangcharakter des Effekts gestalten. Für einen breiten Stereosound können Sie über einen internen Schalter den TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) Stereo Hardwire Bypass Mode wählen. In diesem Modus können Sie ein TRS-auf-TS-(Tip-Sleeve)-Y-Verteilerkabel verwenden, um das Effektsignal an zwei verschiedene Verstärker zu senden, so dass die Modulation von links nach rechts wandern kann.

The MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe is powered by pure analog bucket-brigade technology, serving up shimmering, liquid chorus and swooshing, metallic flanger effects while preserving the punch and fundamental of your low end.

The Bass Chorus Deluxe features top-mounted Flanger and X-Over buttons with LED status indicators. In X-Over Mode, modulation in low frequencies is decreased at 100Hz—perfect for playing upper register chords, melodies and fills while keeping the low end in tune. With Bass and Treble controls you can cut or boost lows and highs and shape the tonal character of the effect. For a wide stereo sound, select the TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) Stereo Hardwire Bypass Mode via an internal switch. In this mode, you can use a TRS to TS (tip-sleeve) Y-splitter cable to send the effect signal to two different amplifiers, allowing the modulation to move from left to right.

Darüber hinaus bietet das integrierte Fuzz nicht nur eine 2-Band Klangregelung für Bässe und Höhen, sondern auch zwei Voices. Während das erste Voicing einen warmen, sanft komprimierenden Sound liefert, überzeugt das zweite mit seiner helleren und aggressiveren Klangentfaltung. Damit der natürliche Charakter des verwendeten Basses und die Definition des Tons nicht verloren gehen, kann außerdem das trockene Signal stufenlos hinzugemischt werden, wobei der separate Mittenregler bei Bedarf für einen gesteigerten Punch sorgt.

The MXR M287 Sub Octave Bass Fuzz is a true colossus among bass effect units and impresses with a bloodcurdling sound that makes the walls tremble. The octaver, whose circuit is based on the growl section of the popular MCR Bass Octave Deluxe, adds an octave below the played tone for a powerful low-end punch. In addition, the integrated fuzz not only offers a 2-band tone control for bass and treble, but also two voices. While the first voicing delivers a warm, gently compressive sound, the second is convincing with its brighter and more aggressive sound development. To ensure that the natural character of the bass used and the definition of the tone are not lost, the dry signal can also be mixed in continuously, with the separate mid-range control providing an increased punch if required.

Much more than just a direct box, the SansAmp Bass Driver DI is capable of dialing up big vintage tube tones, bright modern slap sounds, gnarly distortions, and all in between. Three different outputs to drive power amps, recording desks, PA mixers, or simply enhance your current rig. Controls include Presence for definition and upper harmonic content; Blend to combine the proportion of direct signal and SansAmp circuitry; and active EQ specifically tuned for bass with 12dB of cut or boost.

With the popularity of 5- and 6-string basses going beyond fad status and becoming mainstream, we added a switch to adjust the bass frequency to extend into those lower registers. We also added a mid-range control and a switch to adjust its frequency. The core of the SansAmp Bass Driver and all of its tones remain true to its original design.

The Chorusaurus gives bassists unparalleled control of their tone with an intuitive, four-knob layout. RATIO controls the ratio of dry and wet signals. The SPEED, INTENSITY, and WIDTH controls provide maximum tonal sculpting. Now you can dial in subtle swirling textures, extreme chorusing or anything in between! Das Way Huge Atreides Analog Weirding Module (WHE900) bietet ein Kaleidoskop aus organischen Synth-ähnlichen Tönen. Inspiriert von einem Vintage Mini-Synthesizer aus dem Jahr 1980 erzeugt das Effektpedal einen monophonen Effekt mit vielen Klang-Ebenen, die durch dynamische Spieltechnik und Anpassung der einzelnen Schieberegler nach Bedarf manipuliert werden können. Das Atreides bietet mit Sub-Octave Effekten, einem regelbaren Phaser-Layer, einem dynamischen Filter und einer 'knurrigen' Fuzz-Sektion ein extrem breites Spektrum unterschiedlichster Sounds. Die Schieberegler für Sensitivity und Range steuern den Vocal Envelope, Fuzz kontrolliert den Grad an Verzerrung und der Bright-Schieberegler fungiert als Tone-Regler, der wunderbar mit dem Fuzz interagiert. Der Sub-Schieberegler fügt eine Suboktave hinzu (je nach Setting wahlweise eine oder zwei Oktaven nach unten), während der Rate-Schieberegler den Phaser kontrolliert. Über einen internen Trim-Poti lässt sich zusätzlich das Feedback des Phasers steuern. Natürlich harmoniert das Way Huge Atreides ohne Probleme sowohl mit Gitarren als auch mit Bässen!

The Way Huge Atreides Analog Weirding Module (WHE900) offers a kaleidoscope of organic synth-like tones. Inspired by a vintage 1980 mini synthesizer, this consciousness-awakening device produces a monophonic effect with many layers that can be manipulate as needed through dynamic playing technique and adjustment of each of its several sliders. Kicking the footswitch generates an explosion of growly sub-octave, expressive vocal envelope, swooshing phase, and gnarly fuzz sounds. Ascend the high dune and gaze upon an expanding world of musical delights full of pure imagination. The Sensitivity and Range sliders control the vocal envelope, Fuzz adjusts the amount of fuzz and distortion and the Bright slider works as tone control that interacts with the Fuzz setting. The Sub slider adds sub-octave with an internal switch toggling 1 or 2 octaves while the Rate slider controls a phaser layer with an internal trim pot for adjustable feedback. The Way Huge Atreides works perfectly with bass or guitar.

Was ist daran so besonders?

Die meisten E-Gitarren sind mit passiven Tonabnehmern ausgestattet und haben eine entsprechend hohe Ausgangsimpedanz. Bei Verwendung eines Gitarrenkabels von 6m oder länger geht im Höhenbereich je länger je mehr vom Gitarren-Sound verloren. Ein Puffer kompensiert diese Signalbeeinträchtigung und somit den Sound-Verlust für lange Kabel – selbst, wenn die Stimmfunktion aus ist.

Der ULTRA-BUFFER verbessert die Klangqualität im Bypass-Betrieb und erhält bei Verwendung eines langen Kabels somit den Sound, ganz gleich, ob es direkt mit dem Tuner oder zunächst mit einem komplexen Effekt-Board verbunden ist.

Der Pitchblack XS erlaubt Wechsel zwischen dem True Bypass- und dem Ultra Buffer-Modus, um in jeder Lebenslage den optimalen Sound zu erzielen.

The Pitchblack XS not only features a true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.

Why is this important?

The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When you are using a cable there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (around 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable. A buffer boosts the signal over long cables to avoid loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.

The ULTRA BUFFER enhances the sound quality in bypass mode, so that you can still maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects board.

On the Pitchblack XS, you can switch between true bypass and the ULTRA BUFFER, according to your tastes and environment.

Das Wren and Cuff Super Russian kombiniert eine Muff-Sektion mit einer transparenten Germanium Buffered-Boost-Sektion in einem extrem vielseitigen Effektpedal. Die Muff Seite ist ein Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian Fuzz (eine detailgetreue Nachbildung der ersten grünen Tall Font Muff Pedale, die in Russland gebaut wurden) mit ein paar kleinen Anpassungen und Erweiterungen. Das Fuzz bietet ein tightes Low-End mit Overdrive-ähnlicher Kompression und eine präsente, klare Treble-Range, vermischt mit einem legendären Tone und einer etwas raueren, direkteren Note, die bei den 'Civil War' Muffs nicht zu finden ist. Im Vergleich zum Standard Tall Font Russian hat die Muff Seite des Super Russian etwas mehr Output Volume und einen zusätzlichen Kippschalter, der zwischen dem charakteristischen Muff Mid-Scoop und einem Flat-EQ Setting in den Mitten wählt. Die Fuzz-Sektion verfügt außerdem über den schaltbaren 'Creamy Dreamer' Mod, der zusätzlich mehr Gain und einen Output Boost aktiviert. Die Buffer-Boost Seite ist eine separate kristallklare, transparente Germanium Buffered-Boost-Sektion, die vor die Muff-Sektion geschaltet ist, um den Sound noch stärker in die Sättigung zu bringen. Der Buffered-Boost lässt sich auch ohne das Fuzz nutzen, um den Clean Sound 'fetter' zu machen oder um das Front-End des Verstärkers oder anderer Effektpedale zu pushen.

The Wren and Cuff Super Russian combines a Muff section and a transparent germanium buffered boost section in an extremely versatile effects pedal. The Muff side is basically a Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian fuzz (a precise recreation of the first green Tall Font Muff pedals built in Russia) with some little tweaks and adjustments. The fuzz provides a tight low-end with overdriven compression and a present and clear treble range, mixed with a legendary tone and a slight gritty edge and a rudeness, which is not found in the 'Civil War' Muffs. Compared to the standard Tall Font Russian fuzz, the Muff side of the Super Russian has a bit more output volume and comes with a toggle switch for the EQ setting that selects between the characteristic Muff mid-scoop and a flat EQ setting in the mids. The fuzz section also features the fabled 'Creamy Dreamer' mod to send things into a rich hyper-drive on command. The buffer-boost side is a separate crystal-clear transparent germanium buffered boost, placed before the Muff section to push things even harder if needed. This buffered boost can also be used on its own as a beautiful tool to beef up the clean tone or to use it to push another pedal later down the chain.

Die Walrus Audio Julia ist ein komplett analoges Chorus/Vibrato-Pedal, das mit einigen Besonderheiten aufwarten kann. Obwohl es sich bei den beiden um alteingesessene Standard-Effektsounds handelt, versteht es der amerikanische Boutique-Hersteller, mit einigen Extras jenseits der Norm Interesse zu wecken.
So auch bei der Julia, bei der beispielsweise fließend mit einem Blend-Regler zwischen Chorus und Vibrato gewechselt werden kann. Dazu lässt ein Schalter die Wahl, den LFO zu Sinus- oder Dreieck-Wellenformen zu überreden. Was diese Funktionen klanglich bewirken, schauen wir uns im Folgenden an.

The Julia is a fully analog, feature-rich chorus/vibrato packed with a wide array of tonal landscapes begging to be explored. Updated for 2020, Julia now has top mounted jacks, soft switch bypassing and updated art from Adam Forster. 

Julia is able to produce mild smooth chorus, to seasick vibrato and everywhere in between. With controls like Lag, Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend, and selectable analog LFO wave shapes, you are able to dial in all types of classic and unique chorus/vibrato sounds; some settings giving a familiar feel while others are not found on traditional chorus pedals.

A special feature of the Julia is the Lag control. The Lag knob lets you set the center delay time that the LFO effect modulates from. From smooth and tight modulation at lower settings, to warbling detune at maximum, the Lag knob adds a new dimension to the traditional Chorus/Vibrato landscape.
