The AceTone Disturbator I is an extremely aggressive fuzz pedal from the French boutique brand AceTone Electronics (ATE). It was designed to produce unstable, crumbling, and oscillating fuzz tones ranging from classic "velcro" fuzz to total sonic destruction. The circuit is based on a modified silicon transistor architecture that intentionally pushes the limits of signal stability. It features controls for Volume, Gain, and a unique "Disturb" parameter that manipulates the circuit's bias. The pedal is handmade and targeted at musicians in noise, industrial, or experimental rock genres. It is the first iteration in the Disturbator series, which is renowned for its radical approach to sound shaping.
