Designed by Tomoyuki Mitsuma, this versatile distortion pedal accurately replicates the early Eddie Van Halen "Brown Sound" and operates as a modified Marshall-style drive circuit. It covers a wide sonic footprint that spans from light crunch to heavy rock and metal tones, maintaining tight low-end definition even at high gain levels. The internal layout utilizes premium audio components, including an OPA2134 operational amplifier, REY metal film resistors, and custom-selected point-to-point wiring materials. Dual independent equalization controls labeled Narrow and Wide manage distinct frequency spectrum bands to dramatically reshape the midrange response and texture. Enclosed in a rugged, uniquely shaped aluminum housing, it features true bypass switching and a high-brightness LED for clear status visibility.Media
