Es basiert auf einem Shin Ei Companion SF-1 Fuzz aus dem Jahr 1976. 

Die beiden Schalter sind der Octave-Ein-/Aus-Schalter, eine Funktion, die hinzugefügt wurde, um den Fuzz vielseitiger zu machen, und der Tone-Schalter, der genau wie der beim Original von Shin Ei funktioniert.
Beim Vintage-Pedal wirkte der Fuzz-Regler (auch bekannt als Expander) eher wie ein weiterer Lautstärkeregler und war nicht besonders nützlich, aber in dieser Version kann er dich vom Overdrive-Bereich bis hin zum vollen Fuzz führen. Besonders, wenn du die Oktave ausschaltest.

It's based on a 1976 Shin Ei Companion SF-1 fuzz. 

The two switches are Octave on/off, a feature that was added to make the fuzz more versatile, and the tone switch that works just like the one on the original Shin Ei. 
On the vintage pedal the Fuzz (aka Expander) knob worked more like another volume control and wasn't very useful, but in this version it can take you from overdrive territory to full on fuzz. Especially if you turn off the octave.
