Each stereo loop can be broken up into 2x mono loops with an Y-cable and in the looper used as 2x complete independent mono loops (Y-TRS-Cables). As these cannot be displayed in this tool (but often used to double the loops on big boards) we configured in this tool 3 stereo connections as 6x mono loops.

CIOKS 4 Expander is the perfect companion to CIOKS DC7 in case you would like four additional outlets with four selectable voltages on each tap (9, 12, 15 and 18V DC) which can each deliver 660mA at 9V DC. Simply connect CIOKS 4 Expander to your CIOKS DC7 via the courtesy 24V outlet and you are good to go.

But that is definitely not all – what makes CIOKS 4 Expander truly unique is the fact that you can power it with anything from 9V to 24V DC or 9V to 12V AC via the non-polarized DC socket input. Furthermore CIOKS 4 can even be powered by connecting it to a USB powerbank via its 5V USB C input or by using a tablet or laptop power supply with a USB C plug. This flexibility means that you can use CIOKS 4 Expander as a stand-alone unit and power it with almost any adapter including the 1-SPOT or GigRig Generator. You can also use the 24V output on a Strymon Zuma unit to power the CIOKS 4 Expander. It can also convert an unused AC outlet on your existing power supply into 4 isolated DC outlets.

Der Acoustic 360 war laut, aber dank seines innovativen Designs hatte er auch einen wunderbaren Tone und einen sehr musikalischen Klang. While guitarists have often expressed a degree of disdain for solid state amplifiers ever since their inception, bassists have always been more open-minded about these transistorized beasts. And while there have been quite a few famous solid state bass amps over the years, none are as legendary and storied as the original Acoustic 360 preamp. The 360 was loud, but thanks to its innovative design, it also had a wonderful tone and a very musical sound. The One Control Blue 360 AIAB reproduces the sound of the legendary 360 preamp and can instantly give your modern, high tech amp the response of 70’s-era high-powered transistor amp. The Blue 360 pedal delivers a bass tone that fits in perfects with high-density, powerful band sounds - especially those with high volume, distorted guitar - making it a great option for classic rock, punk, etc. The switch on the side works as a pre-set master volume. All boost is set by the Volume control. At the -18 dB setting, cranking Volume to full will deliver a similar level to bypass mode, allowing you to set the pedal to create distortion tones when on, while keeping your signal at the same volume whether the pedal is on or off. At the 0dB setting, the output level will increase as you turn up the Volume.

The One Control Sonic Silver Peg reproduces the sound of the iconic 100W 'V4' tube amplifier released by Ampeg in the 1970s. This highly responsive bass preamp is adaptable to any style of play and a perfect tool for any bass player. With a dynamic tone range similar to the original amp, the switch on the side of the enclosure allows for a cut of -15 dB. In addition, the Sonic Silver Peg has an active Mid knob that realizes a boost / cut of +/- 15 dB centered around 800 Hz. The Tone knob controls the low pass filter which can sweep from 300 Hz to 10 kHz. And, with the 0 dB / -15 dB switch, it is also possible to switch the sound of the two original inputs. From a clean, craftsmanship bass tone to colorful and powerful overdrive tones. Since there is a sufficient output level, it can also be outputted directly to a mixer. Mini Vintage Chorus

The micro-Thumpinator is a bandwidth optimizer designed for bass guitar. It removes the low frequency signals that are outside the range of notes produced by the instrument.

Infrasonic frequencies cannot be reproduced by standard bass cabinets but they often make amplifiers clip, especially when they are set to boost the lower frequencies. The Thumpinator filters the signal content optimising the energy delivered by the amplifier. Low-frequency clip is substantially reduced and the sound is tighter especially at high volume levels.

The micro-Thumpinator accepts instrument and line level signals. It can be used between preamplifier and amplifier, between bass and amplifier or anywhere in the effect chain (line or instrument level). It can also be connected directly to an audio interface.

Die wohl beste Geheimwaffe, von der du wahrscheinlich noch nicht wusstest, dass du sie brauchst! Gerade wir Pedal-Nerds laufen Gefahr unseren Sound mit endlosen Pedalketten in den Ruin zu treiben. Der Feind heißt Kapazität, ein Problem das bei zu langen Kabelwegen undn ich zuletzt schlechten Schaltungen auftritt und das Signal High End kostet und es schwach und charakterlos klingen lässt. Ein Trugschluss, der dies noch unterstützt is die Annahme dass True Bypass immer gut ist, denn ganz stimmt dies leider nicht. Der Little Black Buffer kommt genau hier ins Spiel und versorgt dein Rig mit genau der richtigen Eingangsimpedanz, damit du am Ende einen klaren, natürlichen Sound hast, der klingt als hättest du dich direkt in den Amp gestöpselt.

This may be the greatest weapon you didn’t know you needed. For those of us who are a little “pedal happy” there can be some downfall to our tone. When running a pedal board with more than one or two effects, something called “capacitance” happens. This natural problem happens due to the amount of cable or line that your signal has to travel through, not to mention bad switching systems in certain pedals. The result is a very audible amount of high-end loss, weak signal, flabby bass and uncharacteristic pickup behavior in guitars. Another problem is the assumption that all “true bypass” is good. This isn’t true and actually can be worse than imagined. This is where the “Little Black Buffer” steps in providing the perfect input impedance to your rig and giving you the final result of clear, natural tone that sounds like you're plugged straight into your amp.

Das stattliche Kraftwerk bietet laut Angaben des dänischen Herstellers bei 9 Volt massive 4620 mA Strom und wäre damit rein rechnerisch in der Lage, ca. 577 Tubescreamer-Pedale (!) in Betrieb zu halten.

If you use effects pedals, whether on stage or in the studio, running them from a high-quality power supply is essential to getting the best performance and lowest noise out of them. The best power supplies have regulated, electrically isolated outputs, and that gives the same electrical separation as when running the pedals from batteries — but without the obvious disadvantages! There are several excellent power supplies available that offer such features, but CIOKS have managed to come up with an incredibly compact solution, seemingly without compromising on quality or flexibility.
