Es ist eines der vielseitigsten Dirt-Pedale, die man besitzen kann. Es kann einen extrem lauten Boost-Effekt und zwei verschiedene Fuzz-Töne erzeugen.
Es hat einen klassischen, modernen Vintage-Fuzz-Ton, bei dem man sofort den Electric Wizard-Ton bekommt!

Der Saturnine bietet zwei Fuzz-Sounds, die von den japanischen Fuzz-Sounds vergangener Zeiten inspiriert sind. Fuzz Mode 1 bietet ein mittelgesättigtes Fuzz mit einer sympathischen höheren Oktave, während Fuzz Mode 2 ein stark gesättigtes Fuzz ist, das sich perfekt für tieffrequente Instrumente wie Bass oder eine heruntergestimmte Gitarre eignet. Modus 3 ist ein Boost ohne Sättigung. Alle Modi verfügen über einen aktiven Bass- und Treble-Regler.

One of the most versatile dirt pedals one can own, it can produce one extremely loud boost effect and two different fuzz tones.
It has a classic, modern vintage fuzz tone where you can instantly get the Electric Wizard tone!

One for the doomiest of doomers, the Saturnine offers two fuzzes inspired by Japanese fuzzes of yore. Fuzz Mode 1 offers a mid-saturated fuzz with a sympathetic higher octave whereas Fuzz Mode 2 purports a heavily scooped Fuzz that is perfect with lower frequency instruments like bass or downtuned guitar. Mode 3 is a boost with no saturation. All modes feature an active Bass and Treble control.

Having worked in collaboration with the Doom Metal legend Victor Griffin (Pentagram, Place of Skulls, Death Row, In-Graved, Victor Griffin, ex-Joe Hasselvander, ex-Cathedral) we have released his signature Boost pedal. It is done according to Victor’s liking on both tone and graphics, and believe us, it sounds BIG!!!

It WILL FATTEN up your amp sound and also give a vintage feel to it. The best way to describe it, is like having a tube amp before your tube amp making everything LOUDER without losing bottom end. As simple as that.

Wir legen unser MKI Evil Eye Fuzz neu auf. Es ist ein SEHR lautes und schweres Stück Maschinerie. Ideal für alle Dinge schwer; von Doom und Stoner zu extremen Hendrix Töne. Es hat eine Vintage-Qualität, da wir besonders auf die Details geachtet haben und Vintage-Materialien verwendet haben. Widerstände mit Kohlenstoffzusammensetzung und BC108-Transistoren. Wenn wir es mit etwas vergleichen müssen, ist es ähnlich wie der schwerere Modus unseres Fuzz & Burn Pedals. Aber aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Vorspannung und Materialwerte ist es etwas bassiger und aggressiver.

Auch hier haben wir ihn sehr instrumenten- und verstärkerabhängig konzipiert, was ihn trotz seines schlichten Aussehens sehr vielseitig macht. Er reinigt perfekt mit dem Lautstärkeregler deines Instruments anstelle eines Gain-Reglers, und der Ton wird einfach mit dem Klangregler deines Instruments und den Einstellungen deines Verstärkers angepasst. Das macht ihn zu einem sehr leistungsfähigen Werkzeug, wenn du live spielst, da du alle Regler in der Hand hast.

We are reissuing our MKI Evil Eye fuzz. It is a VERY loud and heavy piece of machinery. Ideal for all things heavy; from Doom and stoner to extreme Hendrix tones. It has a vintage quality to it as we have payed extra attention to the details and have used vintage materials. Carbon composition resistors and BC108 transistors. If we have to compare it to something, it is similar to the heavier mode of our Fuzz & Burn pedal. But due to different biasing and material values, it is a bit bassier and more aggressive.

Once again, we have designed it to be very instrument and amp dependent a thing that, despite its looks being pretty simple, makes it quite versatile. It cleans up perfectly using your instruments volume control, instead of a gain control, and the tone gets easily adjusted using your instruments' tone control and your amplifier settings. This makes it a very powerful tool while playing live as all the controls are in your hands.

Evil Eye MKI

Das Evil Eye MKIII wird unsere MKII-Version des Pedals ersetzen und aufwerten. Es basiert auf dem Sola Sound Tone Bender Professional MKII Fuzz.

Der Tone Bender muss natürlich nicht vorgestellt werden. Es ist das kultige Fuzz von 1966, das unter anderem von Jimmy Page und Jeff Beck von Led Zeppelin benutzt wurde.

Das Evil Eye MKIII bietet einen Ton, der dem Original sehr nahe kommt, aber mit Siliziumtransistoren erzeugt wird. Er produziert einen dicken, gesättigten, vollen Fuzz-Ton mit ewig langem Sustain und sattem Low-End. Der Attack ist scharf, und die Verzerrung ist reichhaltig und fleischig. Es war jedoch keine leichte Aufgabe, den Klang so nah am Original zu halten. Nach einigen kniffligen Vorspannungs- und Detailarbeiten sind die Transistoren der Wahl drei BC109C-Transistoren. Ich fand, dass sie in diesem speziellen Design einen „organischeren“ offenen Ton erzeugen, verglichen mit anderen Siliziumtransistoren, die ich ausprobiert habe (und das waren viele), und dass sie etwas mehr Wärme haben, um den Klang der Germaniumtransistoren zu simulieren.

The Evil Eye MKIII comes to replace and upgrade our MKII version of the pedal. It is based on the Sola Sound Tone Bender Professional MKII fuzz.

The Tone Bender of course needs no introductions. It’s the iconic 1966 Fuzz used by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck amongst countless others.

What the Evil Eye MKIII offers, is a tone extremely close to the original, but produced by silicon transistors. It produces a thick, saturated, full fuzz tone with sustain that goes on forever and rich low end. The attack is sharp, and the distortion is rich and meaty. Making it sound so close to the original though wasn’t an easy feat. After some tricky biasing and detailing, the transistors of choice are three BC109C transistors. I found that in this particular design, they produce a more “organic” open tone, compared to other silicon transistors I tried (and they were many), having some extra warmth in order to simulate the germanium transistors tone.

Evil Eye MKIII

The Swamp Lord is an extremely versatile pedal that can cover all your dirt pedal needs. As you can listen on the demo video, you can go from ultra heavy/sludgy tones to 70s overdriven tones and everything in between. By using all controls and especially our mids and grit controls, you will find that you can make it sound as a fuzz, or you can tighten it up and make it sound more like a distortion or even an overdrive pedal.

Using a bigger enclosure this time to remind the luxurious pedals of old, it is a redesigned version of the very sought after first version Electro Harmonix V2 Big Muff Pi “Ram’s Head” (1973-1977), made famous by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr and countless more. We have updated the original design providing a clear tone with less hiss and high articulation for a high gain pedal such as this. Staying true to the original, we have used four gain selected NOS BC239C transistors
