Though its layout is simple, V-Twin™ is supremely capable of producing pristine clean sounds and delivering purring blues tones and truly outrageous high-gain rock or metal sounds. Two out of three of these dedicated modes are footswitchable, leaving us room to include the Bypass for use with host amps. It even has headphone capability that will embarrass the effects-laden digital wanna be's. Or can be plugged into any power amp - including the PA.

In the studio, either V-Twin is a child prodigy. Engineers and producers alike are shocked when they push up the faders and hear how well it goes direct-to-tape.

Footswitch

Combining the most important features of our SUBWAY® D800™ preamp with small size and convenient connectivity, the SUBWAY BASS DI creates our most compact Grab ‘N Go Bass solution. 

Switchable INPUT settings include PASSIVE and ACTIVE to handle both types of pickups optimally. Classic shelving-type Tone controls handle BASS and TREBLE and are joined by a Semi-Parametric MID Band to enable accurate shaping and/or enhancement of the midrange with a switchable DEEP mode to round out the voicing options. Balanced XLR PREAMP and DIRECT Outputs with a Pin 1 Lift feature for both and a PRE/POST SOURCE switch for the DIRECT Output to handle Stage and Front Of House duties while an UNBLANCED ¼” PREAMP OUT expands the interconnect possibilities even further.

With the added shaping power the on-board Five Band EQ creates the THROTTLE BOX EQ can go anywhere you want to take it stylistically. The middle range of the GAIN control delivers tight, stinging overdrive that–depending on whether you choose LO or HI GAIN Modes–can cover everything from Blues to Modern Metal with plenty of attitude and an urgent percussive nature. Cranking things up into the upper one-third of the GAIN control in HI unleashes a hot-rod that’s blistering with searing top-end harmonics.
