Der Jad Freer Audio LUCE ist eine kompakte, pedalboardfreundliche DI-Box mit Röhrentechnologie und Übertrager, die als Unity-Gain (1:1) Röhren-Preamplifier und aktive Summierungseinheit fungiert. Er verwendet eine hochwertige ECC88/6922 Vakuumröhre und einen OEP/Carnhill-Audioübertrager, um ein rauscharmes, warmes und detailliertes Röhrensignal zu erzeugen und über einen schaltbaren zweiten Eingang zwei Instrumente zusammenzufassen. Der LUCE bietet einen röhrentreibenden Ausgang und einen über Übertrager gekoppelten, symmetrischen DI-Ausgang, sowie Eingänge, die für lange Kabelwege und minimale Störungen ausgelegt sind.

The Jad Freer Audio LUCE is a compact, pedalboard-friendly transformer-based tube DI (Direct Injection) box that functions as a unity-gain (1:1) tube preamplifier and active summing unit. It uses a high-quality ECC88/6922 vacuum tube and an OEP/Carnhill audio transformer to provide low-noise balanced outputs, a warm and articulate tube character, and the ability to sum two instruments via a switchable second input. The LUCE also offers both a tube-driven output and a transformer-coupled balanced DI output, with inputs designed for long cable runs and minimal interference.

Patch bay for two distinct signal chains to easily manage IN, OUT, SEND and RETURN connections between your pedalboard and amp setup.

Thanks to the intelligent internal link between out and send/return fx chain, this device can instantly adapt to any amp and setup change, with or without fx loop, with no need of added cables or signal routing changes.

If nothing is connected in the send connection from the amp side, both effect chains will automatically run in series as a single one; just use the socket “to amp return” as signal output to connect into the amplifier.

The connections between inputs and outputs are full stereo, so, besides connecting stereo fx processors, you can also manage amp footswitches that use the same stereo jack connector directly in your pedalboard space.
