Der TC Electronic PolyTune 2 Pedal Tuner ist ein absolutes Must Have für jeden Gitarristen. Mithilfe der polyphonen Tuning-Engine lassen sich alle Saiten der E-Gitarre gleichzeitig und präzise stimmen. Dank der extrem hellen und großen LED-Anzeige ist der TC Polytune 2 auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen perfekt ablesbar. Als Extra bietet der TC Electronic Polytune 2 außerdem einen 9V-Ausgang zur Stromversorgung weiterer Effektgeräte auf dem Pedalboard.

The TC Electronic PolyTune 2 pedal tuner is an absolute must-have for every guitarist. With the help of the polyphonic tuning engine, all strings of the electric guitar can be tuned simultaneously and precisely. Guitars with a tremolo system in particular are easier to control using the polyphonic function: The tension ratio of all strings to each other becomes visible and the influence on the other strings when one string is tuned. In addition, a classic single-note mode with needle display and an extremely precise strobe mode with +/- 1 cent accuracy are available. Friends of drop and open tunings will also get their money's worth with the appropriate settings. Thanks to the extremely bright and large LED display, the TC Polytune 2 is perfectly legible even in poor lighting conditions. As an extra, the TC Electronic Polytune 2 also offers a 9V output for powering other effects devices on the pedalboard.

The Blessed Mother V2 births a classic overdrive sound, perfecting that raw, yet velvety tone. The range goes deep and wide thanks to the Immaculator function, which allows you to control the transparency of the drive. Dial in sounds from vintage, Tubescreamer-like grit to a heavenly, transparent boost. The Blessed Mother plays well with others and often enhances other drives in the signal chain. Thanks to a supernatural combination of silicon and germanium diodes, the gain has a warm and sweet character to it, just like you would expect from God's mom. Separate treble and bass controls allow you to really tailor the feel to your liking, but this pedal’s speciality is its powerful midrange that can cut through no matter where on the neck you are playing.

Beim Hoof Fuzz hat sich EarthQuaker Devices vom klassischen, „russischen“ Big Muff Pi inspirieren lassen. Das Hoof Germanium/Silizium-Hybrid-Fuzz erzeugt ein natürliches und obertonreiches Sustain. Das Klangspektrum reicht von dreckigem Overdrive bis zu monströsem Fuzz. Der Shift-Regler verändert als „Geheimwaffe“ die Frequenz-Ansprache des Tone-Reglers, ausgehöhlt klingende „Scooped-Mids-Fuzz-Sounds“ sind hiermit ebenfalls möglich. Das Hoof Fuzz ist voll analog aufgebaut, verfügt über einen True Bypass und wird in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt. Das Hoof V2 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. Audiosignale haben keinen Durchgang, wenn das Gerät nicht mit Strom versorgt wird.

The Hoof Fuzz is based on character of the classic green Russian muff. The Hoof germanium/silicon hybrid fuzz delivers a smooth, natural and harmonically rich sustain. It is capable of creating everything from dirty and organic overdrive to monstrous fuzz madness. The Shift control is its secret weapon of the Hoof. It changes the frequency response of the tone control, primarily on the treble side, making possible hollow sounding “scooped mids fuzz tones”. The Hoof features all analog operation and True Bypass. Hand built in Ohio, USA. The Hoof V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.

The origin of the Anasounds Utopia family is as simple as it gets. We wanted a delay with the warmth and musical qualities of a tape echo or a bucket brigade pedal without the loss of treble and the maintenance issues of those classic models. And we also wanted control to face many musical situations.
The Utopia Deluxe is a maxed-out version of the original one with a tap tempo, modulations that are easy to set up and a built-in preamp.

Das Boss DD-500, ein High End Delay des japanischen Effektgeräte-Herstellers, kann mit 12 Delay-Programmen, 32 Bit/96 kHz Signalverarbeitung, bis zu 297 Speicherplätzen und einem Looper aufwarten und ist mit dieser Ausstattung naturgemäß in einer etwas höheren Preisklasse angesiedelt. Allein diese Eckdaten sind einigermaßen imposant, aber die Marke Boss und der Mutterkonzern Roland haben bereits in der Vergangenheit – zum Beispiel mit dem DD-20, dem Space Echo oder dem Tera Echo – bewiesen, dass man durchaus auch in unterschiedlichen Preiskategorien in der Lage ist, uns Gitarristen mit amtlichen Delay-Sounds zu versorgen.

The Boss DD-500 is one of the few Boss pedals which are, because of their size, less pedalboard friendly. Therefor, it offers up to 10 seconds maximum delay time, tap tempo and tape emulation.
Other features of the stereo pedal that allows to choose a true bypass or a buffered processing, are modulation, expression pedal and midi input.
Furthermore, you can lead different delays (modulation models) on several channels and run the pedal serial as well as parallel.
All things considered, the 9V pedal with integrated looper provides an extremely extensive menu including tone shaping options.
Nevertheless, the Boss DD-500 which is still produced today is not really legendary and its sound is quite sterile. This is why this digital delay is a 3 of 10 on my cult factor scale.
