Das RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 ist eine Pass-Through-Box, die speziell für Gitarristen und Bassisten entwickelt wurde. Du kannst das MOD 1 V2 nutzen um mehrere Pedale deines Setups im Front End und im Effekt-Loop des Verstärkers zu postieren (4-Kabel Methode) oder die vier TRS-Anschlüsse als zentralen Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen. Die XLR-Through-Verbindung kann als Signalausgang vom Pedalboard zum Mischpult oder zur PA verwendet werden.

The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections. Fuzz Controls how sweet you want to sound and Level controls how much you want other people to hear how sweet you sound. Even though it has a simple interface, there are many tones and textures waiting to be unleashed. We recommend setting the Fuzz to taste then adjusting the Level to unity, roughly noon on the dial. Playing with a band? Bump up the Level a couple notches to make it extra rad. If being extra rad isn’t your thing, bring it all back down to zero and rip in silence. Your call chief. Es zeichnet sich durch jene Amp-artige Sensibilität aus, die man sich für jedes Pedal wünscht. Er wurde präzise getuned, um einen weitgehend justierbaren, modern klingenden Distortion-Effekt in hoher Qualität zu erzeugen. Gleichzeitig zeichnet es dich durch eine echte Old-School-Schaltung aus, die für eine Portion „Grind“ sorgt. Das Ergebnis ist ein Sound, der einem sofort vertraut und gleichzeitig wundervoll einzigartig ist. Wünschen Sie sich die Strahlkraft und den straffen Sound eines Overdrives? Kriegen Sie. Dieses mit größter Sorgfalt hergestellte Pedal ist mit sechs Reglern ausgestattet, mit denen Sie Ihren Sound maßschneidern können: Level, Weight, Gain, Bass, Middle und Treble. Die rote Leuchtdiode zeigt an, wenn Sie mit dem FlexiSwitch® -fähigen Fußschalter die Verzerrung aktiviert haben.
Mit dem Gain-Regler des Zoar decken Sie die gesamte Klang-Landschaft ab; von knirschenden Abgründen bis zu markerschütternden Gipfeln. Der Charakter der Verzerrung hängt stark von der Einstellung des Weight-Reglers sowie vom Pickup Ihrer Gitarre ab. Mit dem EQ-Bereich des Pedals können Sie den Sound weiter verfeinern.
Obwohl der passive Dreiband-Equalizer seine Wurzeln in einer sehr vertrauten Vergangenheit hat, wurde er subtil modernisiert. Diese Art der Klangformung mag zunächst schlicht wirken, zeigt sich aber dann doch als komplex und ausgesprochen interaktiv. Hier sind ein paar Hinweise, wie Sie den Zoar besser verstehen und optimal einsetzen können.
Wenn die Regler Bass, Middle und Treble alle auf Null gestellt sind, durchläuft kein Signal das Pedal. So funktioniert ein passiver Equalizer nun mal.
Wenn Sie einen dieser drei Frequenzbereich-Regler auf einen höheren Wert einstellen, wirkt sich das auch auf die beiden anderen Frequenzbereiche aus.
Wenn Sie alle drei Bänder auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) einstellen, ergibt sich ein völlig anderer Frequenzbereich, als wenn Sie sie alle auf „9 Uhr“ einstellen – und das gilt natürlich auch für jede andere abgeglichene Position.
Wie Sie sehen – eine sehr interaktive Sache. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt ist es, alle drei Frequenzbandregler auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) zu stellen und dann mit jedem einzelnen Regler zu experimentieren.
Mit dem Dreiband-Equalizer und dem Gain-Regler bieten sich Ihnen nahezu unbegrenzte Möglichkeiten zum Maßschneidern Ihres Sounds. Aber das echte „Betriebsgeheimnis“ des Zoar ist der Weight-Regler. Mit diesem Regler legen Sie fest, wie groß der Anteil des Tieftonbereichs ist, der in die EQ-Schaltung geleitet wird. Damit lässt sich der Klangcharakter dramatisch verändern. Stellen Sie einfach die Regler des Dreiband-Equalizers auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) ein und drehen Sie am WeightRegler, um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen, wie er den Klang beeinflusst. Von einem reinen Clean-Boost über eine HighGain-Verzerrung bis hin zu Overdrive und knackigem Hi-FiFuzz bietet Ihnen diese Funktion das volle Spektrum.
Der Level-Regler hat etwa bei „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) den Verstärkungsfaktor Eins (Unity Gain) – dies hängt jedoch von der Stellung der anderen Regler ab. Neben der Steuerung der Ausgangslautstärke spielt es auch eine gewisse Rolle bei der Steuerung der Klangcharakteristik des Zoar. Indem Sie den Level-Regler und die drei Frequenzbänder des Equalizers (Anheben der Frequenzbänder und Reduzieren der Ausgangslautstärke) kombinieren, können Sie dramatische Effekte erzielen, die an traditionelle Tiefpassfilter erinnern. 
Möchten Sie Ihrem Sound die sprichwörtlichen Flügel verleihen? Dann versuchen Sie, Zoar mit höherer Spannung zu betreiben! Zoar kann mit einer Spannung von bis zu 18 V Gleichstrom betrieben werden. Höhere Spannungen verändern den Frequenzgang; Dynamik und Ansprechzeit verbessern sich. Wenn Sie eine 18-Volt-Stromversorgung verwenden, klingen die cleanen Signalanteile offener, die Verzerrung wirkt druckvoller, während einzelne Noten artikulierter zu hören sind, der Treble-Regler deckt ein breiteres Spektrum ab, ohne rau zu klingen – und der Ausgangspegel ist beinahe doppelt so hoch! Das Resultat ähnelt durchaus dem Sound einer Wand aus kraftvollen Röhrenverstärkern!

Zoar™ is a highly interactive medium-high gain discrete distortion (using only transistors; no opamps or diodes in here!) that has that highly sought after touch sensitive amp-like quality. It has been finely tuned to create a highly tweakable hi-fi and modern sounding distortion, but with the ghosts of old school circuitry to deliver a grind that is both instantly familiar and delightfully unique.
From defined sparkle and tightness of an overdrive to low-medium gain fuzz that’s perfect for drop tuned guitars and basses, Zoar can do it all. Zoar lets you dial in and control every nuance of your tone from jangly on-the-verge of break up to blowing the walls out heavy saturation.
While having its roots in a very familiar past, the passive 3-band EQ has been finely tuned for modern tones. While this style of tone shaping seems simple on the surface, it is deceptively complex and highly interactive - yet surprisingly easy to instantly dial in dozens of mind blowing sounds.  
This meticulously crafted box has six knobs that allow you to truly customize your sound with the Level, Weight, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls. 
The Gain control on Zoar™ goes from the edge of break up all the way over the cliff into the crunchy, grinding abyss. The character of the distortion is heavily dependent on the setting of the Weight control as well as the pickup type and further fine-tuned by the EQ section.
The 3-Band EQ and Gain controls give you nearly unlimited options with great focus and sensitive precision, but the real powerhouse of Zoar™ is the Weight control. This control dictates the amount of low end that is passed into the circuit, thus controlling the entire character of the pedal. Simply dial in the 3-Band EQ to 12 o’clock and adjust the Weight to see how drastically it dictates your sound. From a mere clean boost to a high gain distortion to overdrive to the crispy Hi-Fi fuzz territory, this function gives you everything.
The Level control hits unity around noon, but this is dependent on where the other controls are set. In addition to controlling the output volume, it also plays a small part in controlling the voice of Zoar™. By adjusting the Level control with any combination of EQ (boosting the frequency bands and cutting the output volume), you can achieve drastically different curves that have the feel of the more traditional low pass filter type tone control.
Want to elevate your sonic spirit to a higher level? Try running Zoar™ at higher voltage! Zoar™ can handle power up to 18v DC. Higher voltages will yield a different frequency response with more defined dynamics and a faster response. When powered at 18v, the range of clean tones are widened, dirty tones become punchier with better note articulation, low frequencies are tightened, higher frequencies will cover a broader spectrum without becoming harsh and the output volume nearly doubles! The experience is not unlike plugging into a wall of high wattage tube amplifiers!

Der EarthQuaker Devices Plumes basiert auf dem legendären grünen Overdrive Pedal, das seit Jahrzehnten als Industriestandard gilt. Im Zusammenspiel mit einem guten Röhrenverstärker erzeugt der Plumes eine warme, transparente Sättigung. EarthQuaker verzichtet auf den bewährten JRC4558 OpAmp und die BJT Buffer und ersetzt sie in der Schaltung durch Low Noise JFET OpAmps für einen präziseren Sound mit deutlich geringerem Grundrauschen. Mit 10 Megaohm Eingangsimpedanz bietet das Pedal einen wunderbar klaren, detaillierten Sound. Der Arbeitsbereich des Tone-Reglers wurde ebenfalls angepasst um mit einem satteren Low End ein breiteres Spektrum an möglichen Sounds zu bieten. 

Zusätzlich bietet der Plumes drei wählbare Clipping-Modi um den Sound des Pedals an möglichst viele Stilrichtungen und unterschiedlichstes Equipment anpassen zu können. Mode 1 bietet symmetrisches Clipping, basierend auf einem Paar LEDs. Das Setting bietet den sattesten Crunch und den klassischen Sound eines übersteuerten Röhrenverstärkers. Mode 2 ist ein Clean Boost ohne Soft Clipping, perfekt um den Clean Sound im Mix nach vorne zu bringen oder den Preamp eines Verstärkers in die Sättigung zu fahren. Mode 3 nutzt asymmetrisches Clipping mit Silizium Dioden und klingt am ehesten nach einem originalen Screamer. Im direkten Vergleich liefert das Setting aber mehr Output und klarere Clean Sounds.

Darüber hinaus verfügt der Plumes auch über EarthQuaker Devices 'Soft Touch' Flexi-Switch-Funktion, mit der du im Handumdrehen zwischen Momentary Modus und traditionellem Latching wählen kannst.

The EarthQuaker Devices Plumes is based on the legendary green overdrive pedal, which has been the industry standard for decades. In combination with a good tube amp, the Plumes creates a warm, transparent saturation. EarthQuaker Devices relinquishes the trusted JRC4558 OpAmp and BJT Buffers and replaces them with low noise JFET OpAmps for a more robust and precise signal with a significantly lower noise floor. With 10 megohms of input impedance, the pedal provides a stronger signal with more clarity and chime. EarthQuaker Devices adjusted the cutoff of the tone control to deliver a more useful range of travel with more booming bass on the low end without sacrificing the cutting midrange and bright top end.

In addition, the Plumes offers three selectable clipping modes to ensure that it will work with a wide variety of gear and playing styles. Mode 1 is symmetrical clipping based on a pair of LEDs. This is the crunchiest setting the Plumes has to offer. When played through a clean amp, it will deliver that classic crunchy valve amp tone. Mode 2 is a clean boost without soft clipping and with straight OpAmp drive, perfect for pushing your clean tone out in front or driving the preamp of an already overdriven amp into breakup saturation. Mode 3 is an asymmetrical silicon diode arrangement like an original screamer but with more output and clean clarity.

The Plumes features EarthQuaker Devices relay-based 'soft touch' Flexi-Switch Technology for both momentary and latching footswitch operation.

Während der Entwicklung analysierten die Designer von EQD mehrere Vintage-Exemplare des BMP sowie verschiedene Versionen des Elk und stellten schnell fest, dass all diese Pedale sich recht deutlich voneinander unterschieden. Um klanglich den sprichwörtlichen Geist in der Flasche einzufangen, gab es nur eine Möglichkeit: Sie mussten Watas Originalpedal in die Finger kriegen. Glücklicherweise war sie so großzügig, ihr geliebtes Pedal um die halbe Welt zu schicken und EQD entdeckte, dass es etwas Besonderes hatte, das die anderen nicht hatten: eine besonders heftige Sättigung, eine ordentliche "Schippe Dreck" und einen massiven Bassbereich. Und dennoch lieferte dieses Pedal ein klares, dynamisches Klangbild mit genug Mitten und Höhen, um sich bei Boris durchzusetzen. Das Ziel war klar: EarthQuaker Devices wollten mit dem Hizumitas all diese Eigenschaften unverfälscht nachbilden! Das Hizumitas sorgt für heftigste Verzerrung und sanftes Sustain. Darunter liegt ein düsterer, körniger Grit, der so klingt, als ob die angeschlossenen Boxen gleich platzen müssten. Dennoch bleiben eine erstaunliche Klarheit und ein aufgeräumtes Klangbild, das man bei einem derart aggressiven Effekt nicht erwarten würde. Der Sustain-Regler hat einen großen Sättigungsbereich, selbst kleine Änderungen haben einen großen Einfluss auf den Gesamtklang. Das Hizumitas reagiert sehr sensibel auf verschiedene Pickup-Typen und Spieltechniken. Power Chords klingen dramatisch und wuchtig, während offene Akkorde dynamisch und mit fantastischer Notentrennung rüberkommen. Und Single Note Leads klingen vor allem am Hals-Pickup strahlend und kraftvoll. Der Tone-Regler ist für diese Art von Distortion untypisch und kann in Verbindung mit der Sustain-Einstellung den Charakter der Verzerrung drastisch verändern. Dreht man den Regler mit dem Uhrzeigersinn werden die Bässe angehoben, dreht man den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn werden die Höhen betont. Der Tone-Regler kann von einer aggressiven Mid-Range bis zu durchdringenden Höhen gehen, wenn man ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn dreht. Wenn man ihn im Uhrzeigersinn dreht, werden die Mitten weniger präsent, die Höhen werden gezähmt und ein gewaltiges, donnerndes Low-End kommt in den Vordergrund. Der Volume-Regler bietet massiven Output Gain - die Unity-Gain-Einstellung liegt etwa bei der 9- / 10-Uhr-Position des Volume-Reglers. Bei jeder höheren Einstellung geht der Signalpegel durch die Decke.

The EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas was designed for the one and only Wata from the legendary experimental band Boris, one of the heaviest bands ever to come out of Japan. Hizumitas is a faithful recreation of Wata's go-to distortion pedal, the Elk BM Sustainar. The Elk is a Japanese variant of the very well-known Triangle BMP. The designers at EQD tried several vintage BMP's during development, found that each pedal was wildly different and realized that to truly capture the magic they needed the original. Wata graciously sent her beloved pedal halfway around the world, and EQD discovered that it had something special the others didn't have: heavy saturation with a gritty edge and massive bottom while maintaining a clear and dynamic tone with enough mids and top end to cut through any sludge. The studious wizards at EQD have built all of those characteristics into the Hizumitas! The pedal brings loads of heavy distortion and smooth sustain and an underlying grit that sounds like the speakers are on the verge of ripping apart while delivering amazing and unexpected clarity from such an aggressive sounding pedal. The Sustain control has a wide range of saturation, meaning even small changes will significantly affect the overall tone. Hizumitas responds excellently to all types of pickups and playing dynamics. Your power chords will sound huge and heavy, while open chords will be dynamic with fantastic note separation, and single note leads will come across smooth and powerful, especially with the neck pickup. The Tone control is atypical for this type of distortion and can drastically change the distortion's character in conjunction with the Sustain setting. Bass frequencies are boosted clockwise, and treble frequencies are boosted counterclockwise. The tone control can go from an aggressive mid-range grind to piercing highs as you turn it counterclockwise. As you turn it clockwise, the mids become less present, the highs are tamed, and a humongous, thundering low end comes to the forefront. The Volume control offers massive output gain with unity at around 9-10 o'clock and beyond that, prepare to hear and feel the power of Hizumitas!
