The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections. Green Comp II

Booster sind meist sehr einfach aufgebaut – und trotzdem oft der vielseitigste und wichtigste Bestandteil eines Pedalboards. Dies trifft auf den zu 100% analogen Gold Boost im Besonderen zu, denn seine hohe Eingangsimpedanz (ca. 4,7 MOhm) aktiviert auch die letzten, längst vergessenen Höhenbereiche Deiner Gitarre. Viele vergleichen diese Wirkung damit, als wäre ein Vorhang vor dem Verstärker weg gezogen.

Durch seinen superlinearen Frequenzgang ist der Gold Boost aber bei Linksanschlag des einzigen Potis auch als reiner Buffer zu nutzen, denn er wandelt auf höchstem Klangniveau das Instrumentensignal mit hoher Eingangsimpedanz in ein Ausgangssignal mit äußerst niedriger Impedanz. So behält das Signal die volle Transparenz, Stärke und Dynamik sowie seinen vollen Ton auch bei langen Kabelwegen und komplexen Effekt-Setups. Bei höheren Boost-Werten oberhalb der 12-Uhr-Stellung des Potis werden im Übrigen die Höhen wieder leicht gedämpft, was beim Übersteuern eines (Röhren-)Amps deutlich besser klingt.

Boosters are usually very simple in design – yet often the most versatile and important component of a pedalboard. This is especially true of the 100% analog Gold Boost, as its high input impedance (approx. 4.7 MOhm) activates even the last, long-forgotten high frequencies of your guitar. Many compare this effect to a curtain being drawn back in front of the amplifier.

Thanks to its super-linear frequency response, the Gold Boost can also be used purely as a buffer when the single control is set all the way to the left, as it converts the instrument signal with high input impedance into an output signal with extremely low impedance at the highest sound level. This way, the signal retains full transparency, strength, and dynamics, as well as its full tone, even with long cable runs and complex effects setups. At higher boost values ​​above the 12 o'clock position of the control, the high frequencies are slightly attenuated, which sounds significantly better when overdriving a (tube) amp.

Gold Boost

Der pulsierende Tremolo-Effekt ist vielleicht der magischste von allen Gitarren-Effekten. Das Violet Trem hat eine von Hand eingemessene und abgeglichene Photozelle im Zentrum der Schaltung, durch die eben genau der butterige, „nasse“ Tremolo-Sound erzeugt werden kann, den man von den alten Röhrenamps her kennt. Das Violet Trem hat einen Volume-Regler, um den gefühlten Lautstärkeverlust beim Aktivieren des Effektes ausgleichen zu können. Oder um die Boost-Lautstärke einzustellen, denn bei Linksanschlag des Intensity-Reglers arbeitet das Violet Trem wie ein Booster oder Buffer, mit all den bekannten Vorteilen dieser Effekte. Ein Schalter ermöglicht die Wahl zwischen harten Rechteck- und weichen Sinus-Wellenformen und damit zwei grundsätzliche verschiedene Tremolo-Ausrichtungen, wie sie verschiedener nicht sein könnten: Vintage trifft auf Moderne - hier surft Dick Dale, dort donnert der „Stutter“-Effekt von Tom Morello. Und die Status-LED leuchtet dazu pulsierend im Tempo der Tremolo-Wellen auf.

Aufgrund seiner True-Bypass-Schaltung verhält sich das Violet Trem im nicht aktivierten Zustand absolut klangneutral.

The pulsating tremolo effect is perhaps the most magical of all guitar effects. The Violet Trem features a hand-calibrated and calibrated photocell at the center of the circuit, which creates precisely that buttery, "wet" tremolo sound familiar from old tube amps. The Violet Trem has a Volume control to compensate for the perceived loss of volume when activating the effect. Ein guter Chorus-Effekt muss cremig, satt und warm klingen. Dies erreicht man nur mit einer guten, alten Analogschaltung, die aber dank eines speziellen Schaltungsdesigns nicht die Nebengeräusche von damals mit in die heute Zeit transportiert. Der Blue Move Chorus realisiert eine große Bandbreite an Chorus-Sounds: Mit niedrigerer Geschwindigkeit (Speed) und großer Modulationstiefe (Depth) werden weite, flächige, tiefe und schimmernde Chorus-Klänge erzeugt, wabernde Leslie-ähnliche Sounds können z.B. mit einer höherer Speed und reduzierter Modulationstiefe erreicht werden. Die hohe Eingangsimpedanz von 1 MOhm verarbeitet sensibel das Eingangssignal, das trotz der Dichte des Effektes immer musikalisch ansprechbar bleibt. Eine pulsierende LED zeigt die eingestellte "Chorus"-Geschwindigkeit an und aufgrund seiner True-Bypass-Schaltung verhält sich der Blue Move Chorus im nicht aktivierten Zustand absolut klangneutral.

A good chorus effect must sound creamy, rich, and warm. This can only be achieved with a good, old-fashioned analog circuit, which, thanks to a special circuit design, doesn't carry the background noise of yesteryear into the present. The Blue Move Chorus realizes a wide range of chorus sounds: With a lower speed and a large modulation depth, wide, expansive, deep, and shimmering chorus sounds are created; wafting Leslie-like sounds, for example, can be achieved with a higher speed and reduced modulation depth. The high input impedance of 1 MOhm sensitively processes the input signal, which always remains musically responsive despite the density of the effect. A pulsing LED indicates the set chorus speed, and thanks to its true bypass circuitry, the Blue Move Chorus is completely sound-neutral when deactivated.

Das Red Echo II ist ein besonders warm klingendes Delay-Pedal. Das direkte Gitarrensignal bleibt komplett analog - nur so behält der Sound seinen kompletten Umfang an Dynamik und Klarheit. Mit einer bis zu 600 ms langen Verzögerungszeit liefert es die typischen Retro-Sounds – sphärische Ambience-Effekte bei ruhigen Balladen, ein kurzes Slapback-Echo für Country und Rockabilly oder die magische Triebfeder bei heißen Rock-Soli. Sowohl mit cleanen, als auch mit verzerrten Amp-Sounds erzielt das Red Echo II herausragende Ergebnisse. Aufgrund seiner True-Bypass-Schaltung verhält sich das Red Echo II im nicht aktivierten Zustand übrigens absolut klangneutral.
