Am ISO-Ausgang kann das Signal wahlweise symmetrisch oder unsymmetrisch abgegriffen werden. Mittels eines goldkontaktierten Phasenumkehrschalters kannst du die Phase des Ausgangssignals am ISO-Ausgang drehen, was verhindert, dass Phasenauslöschungen die Wiedergabe des Signals negativ beeinflussen.

The LEHLE P-SPLIT III combines passive splitting with the highest possible signal fidelity.
Its applications range from splitting signals and eliminating hum, to balancing and reamplification along with any signal routing that requires a clean signal free from noise.
At its core is the high-end LEHLE TRANSFORMER HZ, which galvanically isolates the two outputs, eliminating any possibility of ground loops. The LEHLE TRANSFORMER HZ was specially designed for use with high-impedance signals but also splits low-impedance signals with uncompromising sound quality. The signal can be picked off either symmetrically or asymmetrically from the ISO output.
By using the phase inverter switch with gold-plated contacts you can flip the signal phase at the ISO output, preventing phase cancellation from impairing signal reproduction.

The micro-Thumpinator is a bandwidth optimizer designed for bass guitar. It removes the low frequency signals that are outside the range of notes produced by the instrument.

Infrasonic frequencies cannot be reproduced by standard bass cabinets but they often make amplifiers clip, especially when they are set to boost the lower frequencies. The Thumpinator filters the signal content optimising the energy delivered by the amplifier. Low-frequency clip is substantially reduced and the sound is tighter especially at high volume levels.

The micro-Thumpinator accepts instrument and line level signals. It can be used between preamplifier and amplifier, between bass and amplifier or anywhere in the effect chain (line or instrument level). It can also be connected directly to an audio interface.

Es ist eine moderne Weiterentwicklung der „Tri-Comp“-Transistor-Clipping-Schaltung des Traynor TS50B-Verstärkers aus den 1970er Jahren, der für seinen scharfen, klavierähnlichen Attack und aggressiven Grind bekannt ist. Im Gegensatz zum Originalverstärker verfügt diese Schaltung über einen neu gestalteten aktiven Low-Shelf-Filter für den Bass-Regler nach der Clipping-Stufe, der eine tiefe Basserweiterung ermöglicht, ohne den Verzerrungscharakter zu beeinflussen. Ein Attack-Regler steuert die Frequenzen vor dem Gain, um die Schärfe des Plektrumanschlags und die Klarheit anzupassen. Das Pedal enthält außerdem einen Kippschalter mit drei Positionen für das Mitten-Sculpting, der die Wahl zwischen flachen Mitten, einem moderaten Cut oder einem tiefen Notch bietet. The Electronic Audio Experiments Greathammer is an all-analog, solid-state drive and preamp designed primarily for bass guitar but highly effective for guitar applications. Was ist daran so besonders?

Die meisten E-Gitarren sind mit passiven Tonabnehmern ausgestattet und haben eine entsprechend hohe Ausgangsimpedanz. Bei Verwendung eines Gitarrenkabels von 6m oder länger geht im Höhenbereich je länger je mehr vom Gitarren-Sound verloren. Ein Puffer kompensiert diese Signalbeeinträchtigung und somit den Sound-Verlust für lange Kabel – selbst, wenn die Stimmfunktion aus ist.

Der ULTRA-BUFFER verbessert die Klangqualität im Bypass-Betrieb und erhält bei Verwendung eines langen Kabels somit den Sound, ganz gleich, ob es direkt mit dem Tuner oder zunächst mit einem komplexen Effekt-Board verbunden ist.

Der Pitchblack XS erlaubt Wechsel zwischen dem True Bypass- und dem Ultra Buffer-Modus, um in jeder Lebenslage den optimalen Sound zu erzielen.

The Pitchblack XS not only features a true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.

Why is this important?

The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When you are using a cable there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (around 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable. A buffer boosts the signal over long cables to avoid loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.

The ULTRA BUFFER enhances the sound quality in bypass mode, so that you can still maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects board.

On the Pitchblack XS, you can switch between true bypass and the ULTRA BUFFER, according to your tastes and environment.

Memory Lane

The original Diamond Compressor was released in February, 2005 and quickly became a
hit with guitar players. Soon bass players were adopting the Compressor for its smooth
sound and ease of use. However feedback from bassists soon revealed that the low frequency response of the original design wasn’t ideal, especially for 5 and 6 string players.
In addition, basses with particularly high output active pickups were capable of overloading the input of the original design. After developing a modification of the design for bassists, it was clear that a dedicated bass version was inevitable. Many of the features of the
Diamond Bass Comp are based on feedback from players just like you... thank you all!
