CIOKS 4 Expander is the perfect companion to CIOKS DC7 in case you would like four additional outlets with four selectable voltages on each tap (9, 12, 15 and 18V DC) which can each deliver 660mA at 9V DC. Simply connect CIOKS 4 Expander to your CIOKS DC7 via the courtesy 24V outlet and you are good to go.

But that is definitely not all – what makes CIOKS 4 Expander truly unique is the fact that you can power it with anything from 9V to 24V DC or 9V to 12V AC via the non-polarized DC socket input. Furthermore CIOKS 4 can even be powered by connecting it to a USB powerbank via its 5V USB C input or by using a tablet or laptop power supply with a USB C plug. This flexibility means that you can use CIOKS 4 Expander as a stand-alone unit and power it with almost any adapter including the 1-SPOT or GigRig Generator. When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Although our original Compressor sounded great on bass (and still does!) we set out to do even better. 

On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a fully variable sidechain high pass filter, and a two position ‘tone + colour’ circuit which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.

The micro-Thumpinator is a bandwidth optimizer designed for bass guitar. It removes the low frequency signals that are outside the range of notes produced by the instrument.

Infrasonic frequencies cannot be reproduced by standard bass cabinets but they often make amplifiers clip, especially when they are set to boost the lower frequencies. The Thumpinator filters the signal content optimising the energy delivered by the amplifier. Low-frequency clip is substantially reduced and the sound is tighter especially at high volume levels.

The micro-Thumpinator accepts instrument and line level signals. It can be used between preamplifier and amplifier, between bass and amplifier or anywhere in the effect chain (line or instrument level). It can also be connected directly to an audio interface.

Das Fulltone Clyde Wah-Wah Pedal entstand nach eingehender Analyse von Michaels Fullers 25 Stück umfassender Sammlung alter VOX-Pedale. Da ihm die alten VOX-Teile nicht genug Regelweg hatten, entwickelte er sein eigenes, seinen Vorstellungen entsprechendes Pedalgehäuse. Auf der handverdrahteten Platine des Clyde Deluxe findet man denn auch erlesene Bauteile wie z. B. Kohleschicht-Widerstände, NOS(New old Stock)Tropical Fish 0,22 Kondensatoren, GE (General Electric) 0,1 Kondensatoren sowie natürlich eine speziell nach Fulltone-Vorgaben gefertigte Spule. Durch die s. g. Resonance Control, ein Trimpoti auf der Platine, läßt sich die Bass-Wiedergabe nach persönlichem Geschmack regeln. Das ebenfalls speziell für Fulltone angefertigte Tone Poti verfügt über die gleiche Kennline, welche man bei den Icar Potis der 60er Jahre VOX-Ära findet.

The Fulltone Clyde wah-wah pedal was created after analysing Michael Fuller's collection of 25 old VOX pedals. Since the old VOX parts didn't have enough control travel, he developed his own pedal housing according to his ideas. The hand-wired circuit board of the Clyde Deluxe features exquisite components such as carbon film resistors, NOS (New Old Stock) Tropical Fish 0.22 capacitors, GE (General Electric) 0.1 capacitors and, of course, a coil specially manufactured according to Fulltone specifications. The so-called Resonance Control, a trimpot on the circuit board, allows the bass response to be adjusted to personal taste. The tone pot, also specially made for Fulltone, has the same characteristic curve as the Icar pots of the 60s VOX era.

Clyde Deluxe Wah

Der amerikanische Effektpedal-Hersteller Xotic ist bekannt für seine gut klingenden Overdrive-Pedale. Auf der NAMM 2019 in Anaheim zeigte er zwei interessante Neuheiten, die das Portfolio zukünftig ergänzen werden: den Xotic Super Sweet Booster und den Xotic Super Clean Buffer.

The Xotic Super Clean buffer landed on my board in an attempt to fight a major tone loss issue caused by my GigRig QuarterMaster loop switcher (check out my QuarterMaster review to learn more). Since I discovered that tone issue with the switcher, I started looking for possible simple cures that can bring sanity back to my board. I was really trying to avoid getting into replacing my QuarterMaster, simply because I had a really tough year, full of gear issues, technicians and technical support and I just got tired of it. I ended up getting an Xotic Super Clean and I'm very happy with it so far. My clean tone has never been so good through any pedal board before, with or without the switcher.

It's a much, much smaller than the ST-1 at only 3.9" wide x 4" deep, and more intelligent version of the epic Supa-Trem1. Sporting True-Bypass,Tap-Tempo, external Tap jack, Half/Double hold feature, up to 15dB boost, true Square, Sine, and the natural heartbeat-like Warble wave-forms! It also can do speeds so slow that a full cycle takes around 10 seconds, and fast speeds beyond 220bpm. The heart of the ST-1 is still there, the warm Analog Devices JFET preamp. Der Feind heißt Kapazität, ein Problem das bei zu langen Kabelwegen undn ich zuletzt schlechten Schaltungen auftritt und das Signal High End kostet und es schwach und charakterlos klingen lässt. Ein Trugschluss, der dies noch unterstützt is die Annahme dass True Bypass immer gut ist, denn ganz stimmt dies leider nicht. Der Little Black Buffer kommt genau hier ins Spiel und versorgt dein Rig mit genau der richtigen Eingangsimpedanz, damit du am Ende einen klaren, natürlichen Sound hast, der klingt als hättest du dich direkt in den Amp gestöpselt.

This may be the greatest weapon you didn’t know you needed. For those of us who are a little “pedal happy” there can be some downfall to our tone. When running a pedal board with more than one or two effects, something called “capacitance” happens. This natural problem happens due to the amount of cable or line that your signal has to travel through, not to mention bad switching systems in certain pedals. The result is a very audible amount of high-end loss, weak signal, flabby bass and uncharacteristic pickup behavior in guitars. Another problem is the assumption that all “true bypass” is good. This isn’t true and actually can be worse than imagined. The Low Pass Filter pedal can be used for taming harsh high end such as fret buzz, string noise, and artifacts from other effects such as distortion pedals. It is also useful for simulating the high frequency roll-off of speaker cabinets. At it's most extreme setting, the Low Pass Filter can turn a bass guitar signal into a low end dub tone.
The low pass filter is a 12 dB per octave high frequency filter. The knob controls the cutoff frequency and ranges continuously from 15 kHz to 220 Hz.

If you have an acoustic pickup that requires a specialized input impedance, write it in the notes during check-out, and we will accomodate the request at no extra cost. The output impedance is 100Ω. High Pass Filter

The Scream Bass is our "Never-Off" version of the Screamer Bass.

It is a “clean” overdrive with about twice the gain of your average tube screamer-style pedal. It offers much more clarity than a typical overdrive, and is voiced to help maintain the low end of your signal.

Like the Screamer Bass, it has the Clip Selector, which allows you to select either silicon, LED, or Schottky clipping!
