Das Design und die Schaltungstopologie der Zonk Maschine mit 3 Transistoren ist dem MKI Tone Bender (entworfen von Gary Hurst) sehr ähnlich, aber die modifizierte Schaltung bietet einen etwas anderen, tighteren Sound mit weniger Low-End und mehr Boost als der Tone Bender. Aufgrund der begrenzten Produktionszeit sind Originale äußerst rar und gehören zu den begehrtesten Pedalen der Welt.

The design and circuit topology of the Zonk Machine looks very similar to the original MKI Tone Bender (designed by Gary Hurst) that uses a 3 transistor circuit, but the modified circuit offers a slightly different, tighter tone with less low-end and more boost than the Tone Bender. Based on the limited production period originals are exceptionally scarce and amongst the most sought-after pedals in the world.
