Von außen betrachtet ist das Vertigo Tremolo aus der One Series ein recht geradliniges Pedal. Mit vier Reglern und drei, per Kippschalter anwählbaren Modi, bietet es bereits einiges an Kontrolle über den Sound des Tremolo Effekts. Und hier hat man bei weitem keine digitale Annäherung an Tremolo. Das Vertigo Tremolo klingt absolut wie ein echtes, tiefes und warmes Amp-Trem.
Verbindet man es via der gratis herunterladbaren Source Audio Neuro App mit dem Smartphone, eröffnet sich noch eine ganz neue Welt an Features wie progressiven Tremolo Patterns, zusätzlichen Modulationseffekten, parametrischen EQ Settings und vielem mehr. All diese Einstellungen können natürlich in den drei Kippschalter Positionen oder 128 MIDI Presets gespeichert und wieder abgerufen werden.

From the outside, the One Series Vertigo Tremolo is a very straight forward effects pedal. Four knobs, three presets accessible via toggle switch already give a lot of control over the sound of this tremolo device. And one doesn’t just get a digital approximation of a tremolo – the Vertigo Tremolo sounds absolutely like a real, deep, warm amp-trem.
Connected to a smart phone via the free Neuro App a new world of features like progressive tremolo patterns, additional modulation effects, parametric EQ settings and a lot more opens up to the user. All the settings of course can be saved to one of the three toggle positions or one of the 128 MIDI presets.

Er bringt eine Ära, die uns silikzium-basierte Sounds ins Gedächtnis gebrannt hat wieder zurück und direkt auf dein Pedalboard. Angelo von Meris wurde gefragt ob er einen Filter designen könne um die harscheren Bitcrush Sounds etwas zu zähmen. Und verdammt, klingt dieser Filter geil... fast wie ein analoger Synth. The Meris Ottobit Jr. is arcade dreams reborn! It brings an era when silicon defined sonics that were burned in our memory for years back to live and directly to your pedalboard. Angelo of Meris was asked to design a filter to tame the harsher bitcrush settings. And damn, that filter sounds good… almost like an analog synth. There is an infinite amount of cool sounds you can get out of this pedal, so that’s what drove the decision to add MIDI and presets under the hood. To call it a bitcrusher would be an insult. The triggered stutter and pitch/filter/crush sequencers take you to side scrolling, coin collecting maze worlds. Add in a resonant low pass filter that competes with the best analog synths and would make grandpa SID proud. You want games? The Ottobit Jr. will give you games!
